Recently returned from Walt Disney World and Universal on an extended 3-day weekend. First trip back to Orlando since the Tower of Terror 10 miler. Main focus was to get away, get a little warm (though a cold front dropped temps in the the 30s and 40s at night, some light rain and gusty wind on my last day), and take in the new Despicable Me motion ride and the upgraded Spiderman ride. Tuesday was best day with high of 77 and bright sunshine.
While walking Wednesday from Hollywood Studios to Epcot, walked past The Boardwalk and decided to take a look inside the ESPN shop. A cast member noticed my runDisney sweatshirt and said was I entering the Tower 10 miler. I said no - already entered in the Disneyland Half and soon to be the Wine and Dine Half. Castmember said I was in luck because they released (Wednesday) a new line of runDisney apparel - with a new color scheme of green, blue, gray and white and the words runDisney with a running Mickey Mouse to one side.
The new line includes men's and women's cut tech shirts, ranging in price between $30-$40 minus tax, and men's and women's cut running shorts, about $35.
Not sure if these are located in Downtown Disney at the lockerroom sports store. Don't know because I did not go into Downtown Disney.
The new line looks really nice but I opted not to purchase any because I already have a handful of runDisney in training shirts.
Side note: it was really cool going back to the Studios park and retracing some of my steps from running the last mile of the Tower 10 miler. Also had downloaded 2012 Wine and Dine course map and imagined myself running from the Studios, along the water path, around the Yacht and Beach and into Epcot. See you Veterans Day weekend!
