I heard that Lilo and Stitch is to take over Alien Encounter

Heard something along those lines too. I doubt they will take over but more or less be worked in. I can see Stitch replacing Skippy, but that's about it.

i serisously doubt them replacing any thing from lilo and stitch in AE, if anything they would get their own ride, which is doubtful. I dont see any changes in the future.

Alien Encounter is a "relatively" new attraction compared to most of Tomorroland's rides or even MK's. And this is not the case of Journey Into Your Imagination, AE is a popular attraction right now and doesn't need a change.

OK...this whole Lilo & Stitch makeover is absolutely not going to happen. Even if Lilo & Stitch blows away the likes of the Lion King, the makeover or refurbishment of AE will NOT happen. Does anybody remember the OLD AE??? Mr. Eisner did NOT like that attraction ONE bit and had it changed immediately until he was satisfied with it... HE is OBVIOUSLY satisfied with it now and is really behind this attraction...WHY would he give the go-ahead to change it??? It's a fairly NEW attraction.

I could see them doing it more as a temporary promotional thing, much like the trailers where Stitch is in other movies. Maybe Skippy will teleport only to return as Stitch for a few minutes, then be teleported back as Skippy again, who knows, but I don't think it should be perminant.

With as popular as the attraction is Disney probobly won't change it for a long time. They shouldn't even touch the ride with Lilo and Stitch especially with how much they messed up Imagination
