In most places gift shops sell items for around 100% margin, That's why they can offer 50% off at the end of the season they are converting merchandise back to cash for the next round of gift shows where they buy next years merchandise,
Disney however wants margin on the order of 400-600% hence the T-shirt which in the real world is 7.95 list at Old Navy selling for 29.95+tax, The irony is they were probably made in the same factory.
Heaven forbid they have a handful of items that don't fly off the shelves. And why is the stock so inconsistent? Why does the WL, Poly, and GF have a ton of stuff while the CR has nothing?
