Are the new rates supposed to be out 8/2? I see new pricing for tickets is released, so this means I should be able to book my vacation tommorow morning?

Several have said that they are released on the sunday of the first weekend in august the last couple of years. Makes sense considering the new rates for tickets are to be released on the same day. Well if they do come out tommorow, I should be able to book my trip, then?

Generally in the past, online booking is the last to go live. Over the course of a few days they'll release the room rates, one resort category at a time, making sure there are no errors in pricing.
And if they've released the rates but online packages aren't available yet, you can usually book by phone.

For what it's worth, I just got my "welcome letter" in the mail today. We're planning on going in April, and I booked our room only ressie this past April. So it's taken them four months to send me my personalized letter telling me they're looking forward to seeing us again, our maps, list of things for kids (since they know we have at least one kid going), etc.
The fact that I'm just now getting that letter, right around the time they usually release rates for the following year, leads me to believe that the release of 2010 package rates must be imminent. Maybe it's just coincidence, or maybe they're just running behind. But I kind of interpreted the timing as that they deliberately sent me that letter so as to coincide with the release of the 2010 rates. Even in that letter, they told me the price of a 10 day pass, which, I am assumming, is the new 2010 prices, which are supposed to be released any day now.

Its a start, looks like a revamp of the system and hotels.
Another question, last year was the year of celebrations, does that end? I possibly wanted to take my daughter on her birthday which is in 2010?

Oh, you have a daugter who will have a birthday in 2010? What a coincidence; me, my wife and both my kids will all have a birthday that year, too!:lol:

Obviously I was talking about taking her on her birthday.
Well after cafeful consideration and planning, we have decided to go on her birthday which is in May, which is months after I originally wanted to go. But because of the longer wait and the ability to save more money, I have decided to splurge and booked BLT, 1 bedroom villa MK view for 7 days!!
