Not quite “riviera ugly”…but yuck…

Maybe they can throw some trailers up out back? 🤔
Maybe my OCD kicking in, but it’s NOT AN ISLAND! It is waterfront but not surrounded by water as is what an island is.

Vacation and immersion ruined!
I’m selling my DVC points and moving to Canada!

So if I’m reading that right, they haven’t announced when you will be able to make points-based reservations? DVC members are just being given the “opportunity” to pay cash rack rate to book it early?
Cash rack rates on 1 bedrooms at the least desirable DVCs are around $1K/night. I can’t imagine what this is going to go for. Sheer hubris.

Well if it’s any consolation, the renderings certainly are light on IP insertion. I didn’t notice anything obvious, but was fully expecting to see Moana and Stitch everywhere.

I’m not sure this is the worst?

I didn’t like Saratoga at first but those have grown on me.

Bay lake is ugly…a bad overall build…but location, location, location

Riviera is hideous…the exterior concrete looks like a parking deck. And that redonkulous “RR” at the top? That’s something bugsy Siegel would have vetoed in 1946 as “too tacky”

It just screams “Marseilles!!”
I say worst because of the placement into the existing Polynesian resort. On it's own, sure it's pretty safe. I love the poly and this just isn't good. Maybe when it's done and all landscaped it will be better.

I think its looks great... I can't wait to stay there.

Everyone hated Gran Destino Tower at CSR until it opened. And its now the most recommended place to stay if you stay at CSR. I think it will grow on people as time passes.

Riviera looks far more out of place next to CBR than this does... but thats just my opinion.
I wouldn't say it looks great. Aulani looks great but I see your point. I hated Gran Destino Tower until I stayed there and I would stay there over most moderates now.

I don’t think it looks bad. But you could have plopped this down next to the airport and it could easily be confused for an Embassy Suites.

Exactly what I was about to type. glad I saw your thought first. Spot on. Its a monstrosity through and through and all they have to spin with it is the views of the Magic Kingdom, over and over, its all they got. They didn't even try to design this so it would blend in, its downtown Orlando plopped on top of Disney World proper. Epic shame.
