You know what's funny?
It’s all subjective of course, but arguing that it isn’t intrusive is still a weird take.It doesn't.

Honestly, I haven't seen it so I can't really comment on it, but it does mean the Poly goes from about 900 feet between a hotel wing and GF wing and shrink it to like 450 feet (and it's even more dramatic if you include the wedding pavilion). I have no idea if it visually makes them look connected, but the distance apart is cut in half.It doesn't.

Not true... It is visible from many more areas other than the room facing towers. It also forever changes the skyline of Seven Seas Lagoon which again is visible from the entire resort area and Wedding Pavilion, MK entrance etc. It is not hidden and invisible.... Yes you can find areas within the Polynesian Resort where it is not visible... I can't see it from within the Grand Ceremonial Hall or the Kona Cafe....The only impact are the rooms facing the new tower. Outside those areas you can't even see the tower unless you try.
Yep. You also can't see if it you bury your head in the sand.Yes you can find areas within the Polynesian Resort where it is not visible... I can't see it from within the Grand Ceremonial Hall or the Kona Cafe....
You can see a lot of stuff from the MK entrance why is this a bad thing? Not true... It is visible from many more areas other than the room facing towers. It's not literally invisible but it's quite hidden from most areas inside the resorts.
Not sure why we care when we can see a building from across the lagoon. We can see all the building everywhere.
If DVC marketing is on the ball they would put one out to sell pointsGonna need someone to video the fireworks from those viewing pods as soon as this is open
Agree. Those viewing areas are by far the biggest selling point here imo and I would think that would be the emphasis on advertising but who knows with them.If DVC marketing is on the ball they would put one out to sell points
Just checking - is this finished enough that we can say it is an ugly, embarrassing mess?
If not, please let us know when we have reached that point.
Thanks in advance.
Theming is subjective, or course. You can say or call it whatever you want, whenever you want. You were going to anyway
Theming is subjective, or course.
So is the choice to suggest it’s objective plainness is no big deal if you just don’t look in that direction.
