What curse? There was never a "curse" in the ride.

Basically....you go through the caverns then travel back in time to Hispaniola, where the town is being attacked by pirates. The journey ended when the pirates successfully captured the armory and treasury and tied up the Spanish guards.
Then they got drunk and were talking celebratory pot shots at each other.

So that's the story-line? So happy to know that because now I can truthfully say that not a single word of that changes my overall reaction to the ride even a little. I came, I saw and I enjoyed because it was a fun ride and really any single scene or sub-scene is it's own story-line. Sometimes people get hung up on the silliest of things. Bottom line... I will enjoy it for what it is not what I think it should be. It appears that at the time of its inception, they forgot to ask me what I thought. Accidental oversight, I'm sure.
