I just got this off of WDWIG.com..

The Captain's Tower (Marketplace) closes for refurbishment at the end of business Sunday, April 28, 2002. It will reopen in mid July as Disney's Pin Traders.

This is great for all pin traders. Finally a whole store devoted to PINS!!

For those who don't know which shop the Captain's Tower is, it was the completely open store near the kiddie train. Directly accross from the main entrance.

I think that was a small toy store!!

This is sooo great... do u know if they will have the entire line of disney pins... like the ones from Dl... TDL .... PDL..... if they did that would be awsome!!

Very Cool! I can't wait for it to open. My mom is going to LOVE it. That place is pretty big compared to regular pin carts, I wonder if they'll have enough pins to fill it up. Thanks for the info!

There are also supposed to be lots of trading tables and other pin activites I heard.

Cool! Disney Pin Trading is very very popular....and it blows beanie babies out the door....i saw a few people trading pins at the "World Of Disney" store in Downtown Disney and it looked really cool....while on my trip in Orlando....i bought 6 pins!:)

They Will Have More Than Enough Pins To Fill It up. Disney Has a ridiculous amount of Pins and make new ones every day!

I love Disney pins, i also like universal pins. Can't wait to go to this store when it opens. I usually spend at least $200 when i go on a pin excursion. I also have some special CM pins, can you say Atlas series. I love them. I hope they make special pins for the opening of this store. I wonder is their going to be pins in the other new store their building currently, in the old entrance to DTD Market Place.

I wish I had the money to really get a huge collection. I start saving a little now and then as soon as I get bak for next year. I usually spend 400 or so dollars a year on pins. And then Still want more.

Right now my collection is near 300-350 pins.

I currently have 7 albums full of pins, I am going to be getting more when i return to disney. I started last year when i saw a 30th anniversary pin, and i kept going from their. I even have some classic pins, like Capt Ep pin from DL. back before they had pin trading, I even have a castmember POP Centry pin, the one that they stoped releasing due to the halted opening.
