The transportation stats on the original location proposed for Spain in the 80s. I never said that it was going to be built. I was responding to earlier posts.

I have always said that Paris was a failure of a park because it was poorly placed. Of course im Kentish which is in the south and i love Disney being so close but the weather is not so great and the only place i wanted it was spain where it would be built near Alicante.
However Alicante have high winds and at the time there was no airport and so they decided on Paris rather than Spain. it would be unfair to say that im putting the park down because overall it has some great rids but i think elsewhere in Europe would have been better.
And as for a park in spain it is feasable but i hope it is nearer to malaga or santander because those are the only popular places in spain that aren't close to a major theme park like Disney. however the three main parks in Spain are Universal Port Aventura in Salou near Barcelona, Warner Brothers movie park in Madrid and finally Terra Mitica in benidorm.
Please don't take this as a slatting of the park but please take my thoughts into consideration as i have compiled them not only from my own experience but also from websites, friends and guidebooks as well as my college course.

Here's something funny...A Las Vegas cabby once told my parents the Disney was building there too. Ya...considering they're all of 1 State away from DL, I really don't see it. I guess people just like Wishful thinking.
