New Parades: Why so Late?

I was just wondering if anyone knew the reason that MGM, and AK's parades were so late in the afternoon? I know maybe to keep people in the park for AK but 5:30 for the MGM Stars and Motor Cars Parade?

usually at this time in the year, its not uncommen for afternoon showers...I'm sure they wanted to delay the parade for weather reasons....u kno..so it wouldn't get rained out.....and to keep folks in the park....but thats just my guess!

the Disney/MGM parade is done late in the day dues to the cast. Most area characters are out right after the parade, while the Fantasmic cast goes on lunch just after the parade. This is done to conserve money on cast budgets, rather than having an entire separate parade cast, they just utilize the CM's from other areas while they're shift times coincide. Also, notice that the MGM parade is always 3-4 hours before the first fantasmic.. that isn't a coincidence, but perfect planning

thats cause the area characters go home after the parade, like I said before. The fantasmic characters go to lunch right after parade... I hate repeating myself sometimes
