New MYW Ticket and Annual Pass Prices

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I used 2000 ticket prices and used the value of the 2000 dollar and came up with this chart.

If everything stayed the same (except Disney adjusted for inflation), the real ticket value would be what is in blue.

Am I correct in assuming that I will be locked in with the ap rate that I paid last year? I actually even expected a discount on it for renewing? I have assumed this for a while now but it sounds as though some former passholders are discouraged with the new rates.

The renewal rate for Annual Passes are not locked in. You can renew your Annual Pass from thirty days before until thirty days after your expiration date, in order to receive your renewal discount. Your discount depends upon your Annual Pass and a detailed guide can be found here.

Thanks a bunch on clearing it up...It looks as though I will still be getting mine about 25 dollars cheaper than the total 361.04 that I paid last year.

How exactly are you able to do that? The price increase is making mine go up when I renew.

Bah, I was hoping they'd hold off until January....

$100 for a single days park admission, in my estimation, is about 5-6 years away. :(

So did I read this right?

10 day non-expiring park hopping ticket is $450?

Annual Pass is $448?

Wow the break even point on an AP is less than 10 days! (assuming you aren't gonna use those ten days within 14)
