Better Crait than never.
Better Crait than never.
I see what you did there. lolBetter Crait than never.
And the vehicle will do a barrel role - rumored to be sponsored by...
Rogue one in general seems very under hyped.
Maybe it's still to come. Or maybe they've taken an overall strategy to not go overboard so fatigue doesn't set in and The 'Episode' films are the main events.
To me that would make more sense. The novelty of New Star Wars film every year wilL soon wear off.
I don't think Episode 7 was awful, it hit the beats it needed to and was 'safe'. It was basically a remake in a sense so I get those complaints. It's still enjoyable to me but I can see why some are critical of it. Rogue One was meant to be different (darker) and was a better film, for sure. I hope Episode 8 does a better job, it sounds like there will be too many things they have to hit and not enough focus on certain things but I have no spoilers, just surmising from what little has been given away, along with introducing a new character.
Just cancel it and do a sequel to rouge.....oh wait that will never be possible. Ep 7 plot line wasn't my issue. My issue was the awf7l character development of fin and rey and the amazingly annoying and unlikable nature of the villan. I like darth vader i even liked darth maul....general grevious....the fetts and the list goes on and on a villain should be likeable even if you want him to loose. Crylo ren was not. The one new character I was interested in (phasma) mind as well have never been in the movie with the lack of depth and screen time. Sorry it was lack luster across the board and the rehashed plot was the least of my concerns. (Granted star killer base sounds like a 5 year old named it)
Edit : darth Vader scene alone from rouge one trumps entire ep 7.....

I wonder whatever happened to those Bothans?
Crait would work in theory for an Act 3 destination, as its story involves having been scouted out as a potential Rebel Base during the Galactic Civil War before it gets selected for use by the Resistance. But a storyline that makes sense is not what the Star Tours team is desiring to do.I'm assuming that this (obviously) will not be a new introduction scene, but I wonder if this will slot into Act 2 or 3 of the ride. For the sake of the random factor, I hope it's Act 3, given that Act 2 already has four options. Besides, I could live without Coruscant for a while.
I believe that Disney also referred to the scene as dropping you into a battle between the Resistance and the First Order, which sounds more like a finale than a middle point. Then again, Hoth is the same basic premise, but I imagine they’d want Crait to be last so that guests still have a shot at seeing Jakku (assuming that they lock Crait in, of course).Crait would work in theory for an Act 3 destination, as its story involves having been scouted out as a potential Rebel Base during the Galactic Civil War before it gets selected for use by the Resistance. Oh man, I feel sorry for you truly Geonosis is the BEST imo... I'm looking at you, seismic bomb. So, am I one of the unlucky ones who seem to always get the same locations - Tatooine and Naboo - nearly every time I ride? In the 15-20 times I've ridden Star Tours, I have only been to Hoth, Kashyyyk, and Coruscant once each, and I've never even seen the Geonosis or the Jakku scenes. I feel like I'm missing out.
Martin, have they chosen the IP that will be used for the replacement overlay of Star Tours yet?To clarify, I was told expect it to stay open a good 12-18 months after SWL opens.
And then to close when a replacement overlay is ready.
