Today on Local 6 news @ 6 they were showing the lawsuit against Disney. At the end of the report the reporter mentioned the possablitly of construction of a ride similar to M:S in Tokyo, is this true?

I remember reading something about M:S going into the Port Discovery section of DisneySea next to Storm Rider. Although I thought it was just a rumor.

C'mon, the ride is not even open yet, and there making clones. MS cost 100 Million dollars. The way Disney has been going, there not gonna spend that much money, and plop em down everywhere. I beleive this is just a rumor, and I hope MS stays an Epcot Exclusive

Good point about the cost, but it could be build without Disney spending that much, because the Oriental Land Company controls those parks.

If anything, though, it would make more sense to place a M:S clone in Tomorrowland, since TDL's Tomorrowland is stuck in the 80's (although they are getting Buzz Lightyear). It just seems like they're adding a lot to DisneySeas right now (what with Tower of Terror and an Indy coaster going in).

Agreed. Plus, Port Discovery is very cluttered and while the theme fits perfectly, I don't see where they would put the building. As for the cost, Tokyo Disney Resort or should I say, the Oriental Land Company spends hundreds of millions of dollars on their parks constantly because they understand that you must spend money to make money. They recieved a version of Winnie the Pooh for their Disneyland park that would put ours to shame and only a year after the almost all E-ticket park, DisneySea opened, they announced that a Tower of Terror and a new coaster would be going into it. If only I lived in Tokyo. :(

I also saw that channel 6 report about the lawsuit. They said the company that made the actual centrifuge is suing Disney because they were left out of the testing process. The company said Disney was supposedly building a similar ride in Tokyo using a different contractor, even though they had exclusive rights to build it.
