New limited edition sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich

EoS should really invest in some new veggie sandwiches. I love to eat there and some new options would do really well.

How about:

Brie, honey and arugula? Zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes and swiss? Or my favorite, gorgonzola and pear?

Oh, I bet the cheesesteak is good.

They really have good sandwiches there.

Nothing will ever beat that "Holiday" sandwich, though. OMG. So good. Must have 8,000,000 calories and is filled with nothing but badness, but SO GOOD. :)

It's been a while since I chowed down at this joint (not sure why as it's always awesome), but I have to say I'm completely surprised to see that some version of Philly Cheese Steak isn't a standard menu item.

I agree it is surprising it hadn't been on the menu. Perhaps it will become permanent if it proves popular.

Being from Philly, and seeing what folks in other parts of the country label as "Philly Cheese Steak", I'd be curious to see exactly what this entails.

Oddly, the bar-b-que chicken is pretty much a standard offering at non-DTD Earls (which generally have a lot fewer options).

Had the cheesesteak today and it the worst I've ever had. Spare yourself the disappointment.
Agreed. It's a very poor cheesesteak sandwich. I think the meat, peppers and onion are a premade mix which is then put on the bread and baked. I didn't even detect the slightest bit of cheese on the sandwich. Not a good offering in my opinion.

Well the meat was the same they use as in The Original AKA roast beef sandwich. The cheesesteak gods should take revenge on Earl.
