It would appear Michael Eisner has no plans of really leaving when he is replaced as CEO. In his vision, he would hand pick his successor (one of "his people") stay on the board of directors and be the man behind the curtain after a new CEO is hired.

The letter was published in the WSJ yesterday. I have to agree with MKCP 1985, it doesn't seem like he has any plans on leaving.
