People also can’t afford longer cruises so if Disney wanted to be successful I am sure they are going to do shorter cruises if a new ship was to come out. Also whatever new ship will probably be bigger then Dream and Fantasy. As I see it:

Disney Magic: Miami, New York and Barcelona.- Kids Sail Free promotion.
- 4/ 5 night cruises out of Miami, 7/8 night bahamas cruise out of New York, Europe will remain same.
Disney Wonder: L.A, Vancouver- Kids Sail Free promotion.
- 4/5 night cruises out of LA with stops in Ensenada, Catalina, Alaska will remain same, hawaii thrown in.
Disney Dream: P.C, Europe
- Bahamas Cruises as same, Europe with Magic.
Disney Fantasy: P.C
- Bahamas Cruises as Dream year round.
Disney Whatever: P.C
- Eastern/ Western Caribbean.

I think what we'll see in the short future is an upgrade of the Magic (this year after Europe) to make a few updates and introduce some refreshing looks around the ship, further down the line (maybe 2/3 years) we'll see another 2 ships constructed between the magic vs. dream size. Then the Magic and Wonder will no doubt be retired from the fleet.

It’s only a matter of time for the Magic and Wonder. Once a new ship comes it will probably be a direct replacement. Yet, if you think about it Disney is doing a refreshing on the ships so maybe they are here to stay a little longer then planed.
