It's interesting that the bounceback I was able to make last Dec for a trip in Oct 10 had rates on par with these and were released 6 months ago with less blackout dates. We've got a room at BC from 9/30-10/4 for $204 per night. With the new rate we wouldn't have a discount for 10/3 or 10/4 and the BC is pretty much sold out that weekend already except for club rooms.

AP rates are only 5% better than General Public, which have been out for two months. Availability now is very poor due to GP and Free Dining ressies made months ago. By the by, IBeverly.
I thought there was a lot of room availability. Which, I'm hoping, means low crowds. I checked a bunch of resorts and most have rooms. Now, dining, that was a different story. I actually booked my dining months ago, but I'm thinking about changing a few of them. Then again, I could drink Beverly all day instead

A/P Discounts
We already booked Animal Kingdom Lodge for July...40% off.....I am now waiting for Oct. 14th thru 28th for discounts.....General Public rates thru Oct.2nd have been out for awhile.....Hopefully A/P rates for second half of Oct & going forward will be out soon....It seems that Annual Pass Discounts come out much later than General Public Discounts....Not sure why??????...Any thoughts on this????????:shrug:

agreed. I had my pick of any Deluxe resort I wanted (and since this morning I've switched from AKL to WL!
) but I can't find ANYTHING for dining at your more popular spots....Le Cellier, Chef Mickey's, Tony Town Square, Tutto. The new site basically searches all of the restaurants in the area and for a 4 hour window and it's not coming back with much. We are going to take this opportunity to see Hoop de Doo i think, anyone think the show is worthwhile (or not)???
it's been this way for awhile, I think it's because GP discounts are less and are open to more people...so they'd rather book up those before they decide how many rooms to reserve for the deeper discounted AP rates.

Wondering why A/P discounts come out sooooo much later than General Public Discounts....Waiting patiently for A/P room discounts...for 10/14 thru 10/28.....I am sure the GP discounts will be out first....Not sure why??? :shrug::shrug:

Just booked for 9/7 to 9/21 for $159 WL (Woodsview). Couldn't find the $139 dates. Thanks for the heads up - saved $600!
