Those are pretty much on par with what I've seen the past 2 years. We got Yacht Club Water View for $240 with the bounceback offer for this August. I paid about $230 for the GF this past January with an AP rate.

I think these are alittle lower than they have been in the past. Passholder rates haven't gone below 40% since I've been a passholder (4 years). Lowest I've ever seen WL is $175/night, through in the fact that Value season starts the last two weeks of July, the discounts are just insane these months!

I just received an email offer for 40% off all resort categories. Looks like WDW is trying to balance their discounts out across the board....

Passholder rates THIS year were 42% off Deluxe and 45% off DVC for all stays of 4 or more nights:shrug:

Can anyone post the specifics of the AP email? I got it, but can't log into the view the details as I don't have my AP number handy. I need to know if it is worth calling the wife and having her dig it up so I can try to rebook our trip or not. Thanks.

These are pretty much on par with the last few years. I've been going about 5 or 6 years now, and these are pretty good.

What I was dissapointed in is that general public discounts were announced such a long ago and were so low that I thought the AP rates were going to be more than they are. AP rates weren't THAT much better than general public. They did it kind of different this year. Then again, any discount is good, and I'm just happy to be going!!

Wow,

Time to try and re-book AGAIN. I dropped Free Dining when the last discount came out and I am in Woods View WL at about $240 a night.

Time to get on the phone again.

I was going to book a WL Woods view for the $139 rate, but decided on the Kinadi Savannah view Studio since $237 is just a couple dollars more than what we normally spend for a WL courtyard view. Plus we're going to be celebrating something rather special that the GF doesn't know about yet!!!

BTW, I actually prefer woods view over courtyard at WL...it gets kind of loud overlooking the pool area!

AP rates are only 5% better than General Public, which have been out for two months. Availability now is very poor due to GP and Free Dining ressies made months ago. By the by, I :p Beverly.

I didn't think so. There was availability at all of the resorts I was looking into over the weekends, ranging just about every weekend from August through Sept. I was looking at pretty much all of the Deluxe and Villa resorts. The only thing I noticed was like at AK they only had bunk bed Savannah views available at the Lodge, but was very suprised to see i could choose between Studios and 1-Bedroom Villas at Boardwalk.

That is surprising. Those tend to be as rare as hens teeth at less than 7 months out.

I know, especially since I had you price them for me only 2 weeks ago. but sure enough they were showing up in my "alternative offers" when I was on the website this morning. 1 Bedroom for $269/night, Studio for $197.

I called to see about getting the newer discounts, and for the time period I called I was told they had king beds at Coronado Springs, pirates rooms at CBR, and AKL with the 40% PIN I just got. The AP rate had the same king at Coronado Springs, AKL, and something at one of the All Stars. Not exactly riveting choices.
