'room1313@TTZTOT' posted another thread about this new ride, and it is a great rumor whether or not it holds fact. i would love to see this ride. my question is, if they construct this, would they take away the stunt show themed to Indy? I LOVE THIS SHOW, and would hate to see it taken out, although they could change the format of the show, but keep the same opening....

i would have posted this on that thread, but things were getting crazy about grammar and spelling and such, so i wanted a new one where people could read my question, and not go through all of the other stuff on that post.

Well, I think MGM needs a ride like the Indiana Jones Adventure. If they add it, it might bring in more of the crowds. The Stunt Show is OK, but I'm guessing that if they make an IJ Adventure, they'll replace the stunt show with Motors in Action, a really awesome car show that's already premiering at Paris. I've seen a ride video of it, and it looks ALOT more awe-inspireing than the IJ stunt show. I'll try to provide a link to it.

Clearly, an ideal situation would be for the new ride and a stunt show of some sort, although revamped. However, at the end of the day, I would be willing to give up the stunt show if it meant finally getting the third installment of the Indiana Jones Adventure:)

Wow wouldn't that be awesome! But with all of the money that is going into Project Gemini over at Epcot, would Disney bring that on board at the Studios?

I am sure that we would all welcome it with open arms. Ever since that opened at DL, I have been hoping they would bring it to WDW.

As a fan of the triology, I would be giddy as a school boy, to ride it. Much like the first time I rode Star Tours or Back to the Future at Universal.

Bring on Indy!

I think that the ideal situation would be the stunt show staying and the ride being put in....but everyone knows that will never happen....so i would have to stay ditch the show and put in the ride

Right. As we hear from Indy on The Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, "Snakes...you guys are on your own!" Gotta love Indy--and I could see it getting built soon, if Disney can find a nice sponsor for it (and they easily could--just like Microsoft agreeing to pay for Time Racer). Particularly with Jay in charge, a lot will get done in the upcoming years :)

Indy is scared of Snakes, but his Dad is afraid of rats. Ijones88 was quoteing from the movie when Indy was saying to a girlfriend of his that his Dad hates rats.

i have always enjoyed the stunt show but I would like to see the new Jones ride. So if they take the stunt show away it would not upset me.

Yes, definitely bring the Indy Ride to MGM, this is one of the rides I would most like to see come to Walt Disney World. While the stunt show is good, I think that it has run it's course. Besides, it would be too expensive to run two Indy attractions, so it is better to replace the stunt show with a new and improved ride. That's just my opinion. :animwink:

Clearly, while the stunt show is still successful, it is nothing compared to the Indiana Jones Adventure--I'd rather have the boulder rolling at me than watch it...and this would be a fantastic way to pull guests away from Sunset Boulevard, which the park needs. Between Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Fantasmic!, Sunset Boulevard can be a nightmare...so I would definitely like to see guests moving toward the East side of the park.

Oh, obviously the EMV like Dinosaur--no one wants to see a crappy coaster...the Indiana Jones Adventure is far superior.

(forgive me if somebody else said this already - i admit i did not read 100% of the posts here...)

i think if they could keep the show and build the ride - and have them connect to one another somehow - as a preshow or postshow or something... that would be great...

but if they can't have them both - ditch the show and go for the ride....

As in... Watch the show? then ride? :)

Or just have it in a themed area?

If you meant the first.. Noone is going to watch a show and then ride a ride.. They just want to ride! :)

That is what I have been thinking. Whenever they actually build the Indiana Jones Adventure at MGM, if people were offered the chance to wait 60 minutes for a good seat to see the show, or get in line for an hour to ride the Indiana Jones Adventure, most guests would pick the ride--so it may make sense to ditch the show, or just retheme it to another action show.
