So if your 12 how do you "know" about Horizons. Basing an opinion on Youtube videos is not telling at all. You need to experience first hand. Im sure you can formulate an opinion, but IMO you need to experience it first hand to have a "true" opinion.

Well, I interviewed this discussion with my Dad. So basically I've been posting what he's said to me. He said that he hates M:S compared to Horizons because he said it's cheasy.

Honestly, this group is so dumb and fickle that it begs the question, why tend to them? What is "popular" with teens one day, is "gay" to them the next. Teens don't know what they want or how the want it. Mostly they just want to hang out behind the 7-11 and not conform with society. Maybe if Disney built a 7-11 then, I dunno.

If teens need something to do they can appreciate what's going on around them, not having everything crafted to their special little needs.

Wow, was that ever unnecessary. Way to lump all teens into one category. Maybe when you make suggestions on things Disney should add that you would find interesting, I should inform you that Disney doesn't need to do everything to suit your "special little needs". Somehow I don't think you'd take so kindly to that. IMO it's rude to lump people in a category because of their age and say demeaning things about them.

I'm going to have to agree with the others...your opinion really doesn't count for much unless you've actually been on Horizons. You're just repeating someone else's opinion.

i'm starting to think nobody cares about kids anymore. as if we're just dumb people that don't deserve a right to send suggestions about WDW. WDW doesn't revolve around you old people you know. basically, i do remember some old rides and attractions like WOL. do you know how much research, time, and my own money i use just for Disney? i did research alot on Horizons before i wrote this post. i am an actor so i get paid. i pay myself to buy my own tickets to WDW, for D23, heck my office is full of old disney newspaper articles. i think i'm going to pack anything that involves disney, considering nobody in my family even pays attention to anything i say. everyone say im "gay", "retarded", and anything else. so maybe i should become another stupid guy and give up studying hard and switch to soulja boy. i hate life.

Actually, I have to agree. I'm 15 and I love Horizons(though I barely remember it. I thank youtube and Mesa Verde Times for rekindling my love for the attraction. It has actually become my favorite Disney attraction). I love the original JII. And I absolutely hate what Disney has done with EPCOT. It used to be about discovering what the future had in store in a fun in educational way. Now, it's going under the sea with a clownfish and going on a test flight to mars that tells you nothing in the ride is real. EPCOT has lost a lot of its soul(with the exception of World Showcase which I dont believe has changed a whole lot over the years). The park really needs to get back to where it once was.

Sorry for my ramblings. I know I got a bit off topic from my first two sentences

NEVER give in to Soulja Boy :p. Just do what you want to do. If people think it's gay or not.

It's possible! :p

Not even according to Stephen friggin Hawking! According to him the laws of the universe will never allow it to occur. If you have evidence to the contrary I strongly suggest you present it because the last I checked that guy was pretty much the smartest fella on the planet when it comes to physics and quantum mechanics.

I think you have promoted so much "hating" because you initially tried to pass yourself off as a thirty or forty something by stating your own experience with attractions that were extinct before you swam upstream and the whole "my kids" reference. Save the acting for the stage and not the forums...you will make a lot more friends IMO.

Just settle in and be yourself...my $0.02

Ok, let's not get totally off-topic here...I'm really resisting the urge to change this thread topic to how it is COMPLETELY inappropriate to throw around words like gay and retarded. It's not. Don't do it. And and sentence that starts with 'you old people' is also not going to go over well. I was the one defending teens, but if you want people to take you seriously you need to take the time to use proper capitalization and not throw out stereotypical stupid teen phrases. You're hurting, not helping, my point about not saying negative things about teens. Listen to copcarguy71's advice.

ANYWAYS . . . back to the original topic. The imagineer's original plan for Mission: Space was much grander than the attraction we actually have today. We didn't get that original plan due to cost. So you're basically crazy if you think this could happen, no way is Disney spending all that money on re-building a ride they've already made and then tore down. Horizons cost $60 million back in the 80s, so it would be even more to rebuild it now. It is NOT the same thing as Captain EO. Sure, they had to clean up the film and audio a bit on EO, but they weren't re-filming the whole thing! With Horizons, they would have to completely rebuild the old ride. And there is no way Disney is going to do that. And even if you're not the biggest M:S fan, why on earth would you want them to tear down an open, functioning ride when there is an empty closed pavilion (WoL) sitting right next to it??

I'm actually huge fan of Mission: Space. I've never been on any other ride that had given me that amazing sensation you experience during lift-off.

so I'M the one being hurtfull to the person who hurt me ...

and as i said over and over again, of course they won't do it, but if they COULD do it, then I would love it to be like that. Also I might consider it replacing what was once my favorite place to go to...WOL... i remember when my parents would take me and we'd stay there from park opening untill the fireworks started! We'd have lunch there (dont remember what they had but those yucky wonder waffles) and i would go on cranium command over and over and over again while my dad would sit down and read his newspaper and drink a cup of coffee...
/QUOTE]

No, you were being hurtful for yourself. just trying to throw some advice your way to get people to take you seriously despite your age. But from the eye roll I can see you'd rather act 12.

And you have not said 'over and over' that they won't do it. in fact, this is the first time you've admitted to that. I agree with you about WOL, but sadly we pretty much know it will never be re-opening. I did get to go in there once a few years ago on my College Program, it was kinda sad seeing it in it's current state.
