New Height Restriction for Splash Mountain

Wow. For a second there, I thought they raised the entire height requirement to 60 inches...that would be absurd. I guess it isn't too bad since it's only the front seat. I never see small children in the front. They're always in the back seat with a parent.

I can see a bunch of parents getting mad because their kid can't sit in the front. :rolleyes:

It's a good thing that I just clear 5ft... that is, if I had a chance to go to California. ^_^

(Personally, I'd refrain from letting my kids sit in front without an adult, but that's just me... then again, I can trust my kids not to horse around on rides, because they know that we'd leave the parks.)

This may sound like a silly rhetorical question to some of you, but I wonder if the one at Magic Kingdom might change its height requirements eventually as well? (Keep in mind that I haven't been to Anaheim, so I don't know if there is a major difference in the main drop.)
