What was the story with Gringotts?Rowling is no longer that directly involved, typically delegating to Warner Bros. and Stuart Craig, and this project was done with minimal involvement from Warner Bros.

You must not have paid close attention in those 20 years.Spoiler: They don't put this much though into every ride. I don't think I've seen this much overanalyzing in my 20 years of posting on theme park forums.
This is why Potter fans rub people the wrong way. Tolkien it is not.
Please. JK signed off on Crimes of Grindlewald and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Also apparently the Gringotts coaster that contradicts the story. Voldemort shows up when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are stealing the Horcrux? This discussion is weird, JK Rowling has oversight of all of this and she signed off on it. I.e. Fluffy looks the way it does because she insisted. Another example of her input is the sheer number of trees along the ride.
Oh, yes she is. Her thumb is down tightly on Wizarding World and the Warner Brothers company is just as tight on it as well.Rowling is no longer that directly involved, typically delegating to Warner Bros. and Stuart Craig, and this project was done with minimal involvement from Warner Bros.
I don’t really know but doubt we’ll see a repeat of a Potter attraction occurring so specifically during known events. What was the story with Gringotts?
She is VERY tight on what is allowed. It took 3 years to get a sign changed from "Exit ->" to "<- Lifts/Exit ->"Oh, yes she is. Her thumb is down tightly on Wizarding World and the Warner Brothers company is just as tight on it as well.
If you believe she is that involved in minutiae then have I got a deal for you on the Brooklyn Bridge. She is VERY tight on what is allowed. It took 3 years to get a sign changed from "Exit ->" to "<- Lifts/Exit ->"
I believe it, but it also confuses me on why she would sign off on theming shortcuts for Hagrid. If you believe she is that involved in minutiae then I have I got a deal for you on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Because she isn’t that directly involved and this attraction has had the least involvement from Warner Bros.I believe it, but it also confuses me on why she would sign off on theming shortcuts for Hagrid.

And every attraction since 2001.As a matter of fact, yes, I do try to avoid most threads that aren't about major new attractions. They tend to take too great a toll on the brain cell count. With that in mind, my previous statement still stands. People are actively looking for trivial reasons to criticize this attraction.
Lets see your source on this.Because she isn’t that directly involved and this attraction has had the least involvement from Warner Bros.

For sure Rowling and WB has consulted on other projects and it is great PR to the fanbase, but she is not one to work with the theme park medium in creating attractions and understanding operations is understandably not her expertise.
She collected the checks, and Warner Brothers often share the load. She is fine with many things that get blown out of proportion.
Stuart Craig and others are a part of a Themed Entertainment and often a universal Creative Projects under the Potter Portfolio. It is not as studio involved as before.
Not only does she have a say, she even has a room above Diagon Alley that is hers when she visits. While she may defer in operational capacity to the designers, and initial pitch and any change must be signed off by her. Both her and Warner are very, very strict on what is done. For sure Rowling and WB has consulted on other projects and it is great PR to the fanbase, but she is not one to work with the theme park medium in creating attractions and understanding operations is understandably not her expertise.
