I didn't get to the MK early enough to get on Dumbo (I hate lines), so I just took some from ground view pics. I should be going early Monday to get some aerials. Enjoy.

I'm actually hoping there's a good bounceback offer in the room - maybe when my hubby sees the progress of the construction I can get him to commit to next year NOW.

Does anyone know about the progress inside the buildings? (25% done, 50% done etc) I have read on here before that they are simultaneaously working on the inside and outside. Has any of our "insiders" been able to see inside? (Lee, JT or Raven)

I'm so glad TDO chose a snowy backdrop for the Beast's Castle. The scene in the movie where Belle collapses in despair in her room with snow falling outside the window is one of my favorites...

Your welcome! I was just disappointed I didn't get some aerial shots for you guys, but Dumbo was 35 minutes at 10am and we all know you always add 10minutes to the posted wait time at Dumbo, so I didn't feel like waiting. I should have some new ones within the next week or two. I'm training on my Private Pilot's License and we have flown over WDW many times, but I don't have a camera capable of zooming in from 1,500 feet. If I did I would have some great aerials.

Well tomorrow morning I am going up with my buddy and we are going to ask Orlando executive to give us an approach altitude of 1,500, so I got my fingers crossed that I will be able to get some good aerials. I borrowed a camera from a friend thats pretty nice and it has 12x optical zoom, so I think there's a chance I might be able to get some great aerials. Here's to hoping tomorrow I will have some aerials for everyone.


Update- weather was bad today going to try again tomorrow morning.

hey, so i bumped into a couple imagineers eating lunch at the tommorowland terrace.

they told me that after the DLC Carsland is built, then the the Radiator Springs Racers and the town itself will be built at DHS. he couldnt tell me where. but he said that the project will start in late 2012 and will open in 2014.


he also said that Pixie Hallow is not all but cancelled, its going to be put in a diffrent area in Fantasyland. but again, would not tell me where.

i did ask about the mine train being built last and the giant green wall around it, detracing from the rest of the new Fantasyland, he said it wont. because the wall will be skinned to make it Bright and less distracting

Really? It took them five years to do it in DCA and they're going to pull it off in two years at DHS? I can only imagine what they would've told you had you actually bought them lunch.
