New figment ride length?

Your a little off, by more than Half. It's around 7 mintues.

The original ride was around 12 to 13 minutes.

The new one is almost the length of the Original Ride minus the Dreamfinder Blimp opening scene.

I thought at first the new ride was kind of dumb. But then going on it yesterday I realized (by the happy family behind me) that it wasn't designed for me. It is geared more towards children (It's a Small World in Epcot). So now I kind of like it.

Takes me two trips through a 'new' attraction to really observe and enjoy the story. Almost like on the first trip, I'm too busy trying to experience everythiing. Second time through, I tend to sit back a bit and just enjoy!

I agree with you. And sometimes it takes an audience. The first couple times I was on the ride all by myself.

That's how it was for me the last few years of the Original JII operation.

There were so many times, I would be the only guest on an entire train of cars. Now that was depressing feeling. The whole time wondering how much time time the ride had left, since no one else was riding it.

Well, I tell you what Bradley J... if I would have had the choice, you would have NEVER rode the original JII alone. ;) :kiss: :D

To bad the majority of Disney park guest didn't feel like you.

If they did, attractions like JII, Horizons, or World of Motion would still exist.

I seem to be the only one who liked the last JII better. (I don't remember the original).

The new one is OK.. and I really DON'T like the part with the song and what looksl ike a sing-along. It seems like a time waster. Nothing is really happening.

Well, if you had seen or remembered the original JII njchris65, then I can PROMISE you'd like the new JIYI better than the last one. Figment has this "magic" that just seems to put a smile on your face like many things in Disney do. The last one had NO Figgie in it and all us original Figment fans who fell in love with Figgie and Dreamfinder were very disappointed.

Now the general feel is that ANY Figment is better than none at all like the last one.

I'm really sorry that you don't remember the original ride... it was grrrrrreat!

A quick question kinda off the thread. I went to the Epcot map at the WDW official website. Will Figment be located where it says "Imagination"? Thanks for the help!

P.S. Kinda new to all the info on Figment so trying to learn what I can!
