Yeah, hmm, what's with Maleficent at the end?

That was the evil queen from Snow White. I'm sure the story will pick up with her when that ride is closer to opening.

But I don't see anything hinting at Villians coming to the land otherwise.

I thought it was pretty cool, however I'm a little confused at the whole Villians thing seeing as Villians are not really a part of MK, or any park for that matter. Does anyone think that maybe there is a Villians ride/land/expansion on the horizon? Maybe that could be part of the announcement on Dec 7th?

I think the appearance of the queen is just continuing the "evil forces that have hidden New Fantasyland" for a while longer... the SDMT is still covered in purple fog once you "uncover" the other areas on the map... but I do suppose the queen could factor in the storyline of the ride.

It doesn't seem likely. They took out AE because it scared the kids, so now they're going to build a land to do that. That doesn't sound PC enough to suit Disney.

Nope because otherwise we would of got Villain Village instead of the FLE it would of done marvelous things for Disney like manage to refresh the stale MNSSHP give the potential of a next E-ticket another flume ride to allow Splash to go under the knife for some serious TLC.

just part of entertainment, fireworks, or castle show . . . .

I am with you and think it would be extremely surprising to hear that there was a Maleficent ride planned all along or something, but wouldn't that be so cool? I would just love the idea. It might be cool to have a meet and greet with her at some point although I think many of the kids would be afraid to meet her. lol
