New experiences even for this 'Worldphile' - Sept 14-19 Trip Report

Hi All.....it is your lil' purple buddy here to give my yearly review for those interested on my recent visit to Walt Disney World. Always a interesting and insightful experience, and although this years' venture was short and set at a relaxed pace, i still had some thoughts to share.

So let us begin....
This Trip Report is for this past week, Wednesday Sept 14th thru Monday Sept 19th. Read and enjoy...and i hope it provides some info those making a trip out will find valuable or helpful.

First off, i have to say that it was great to be in the Parks last week. All attractions were walk-on or very little waiting. I usually arrive for the opening ceremony/rope drop as it makes for a nice way to start the day. I highly recommend this to newbies, or even long time 'Worldphile's like myself. It really adds a additonal magical element.

Each Park has it's own different 'ceremony' for opening, with the one at The Magic Kingdom being probably the best. Animal Kingdom and EPCOT both used to have excellent openers, but they have been changed over the past 2 years and are now greatly simplified when compared to the original 'openers'. Both are still well worth experiencing though. Do it!

After staying at All-Star Music for the past ten years worth of multiple visits, i decided THIS trip to do something different. I stayed at All-Star Movies next door after having explored it on previous trips. As much as i enjoyed 'Music' all these years, i am glad to tried 'Movies' as it is a step up in some respects. The Food Court is better themed, but far less seating when compared to 'Music's absolutely huge indoor seating area. I tend to only have a meal or two at the hotel anyway, but wanted to note this for those coming in the future. Having breakfast in the Parks is always a plus for me, as it gets you in the gate and 'there' long before many Guests are even out of bed.

'Movies' was having many of it's rooms refurbed..currantly in the left-side 'Fantasia' building. Rugs were literally being rolled in on carts to be installed, and construction workers were very audioablly busy in them. The place looked great as a whole, and a lot of wildlife was openly about in the early mornings ( toads and bunnies for the most part).

And now...onto a trip overview.

Day One -

I decided to stop over at the Polynesian Resort to start things off, as i really like this place and the great tropical theming. Some day i would love to stay even just one night...but still cannot justify the expense for what is basically a bed to sleep in and a place to shower. Still....one day if i am able to would like to do it at least once.

Anyway...the reason for visiting was to try out breakfast at 'Kona Cafe'. I have read great things about this resturant over the past couple of years, and in my multiple visits i have yet to have stopped over to sample their famous fare and coffee. Well, this trip was to be one to 'experience new things' that i had yet to have tried , so 'Kona' was added to the list.

I did NOT sample the famous 'Tonga Toast' as i was warned previous to visit of the very sweet pastry-like flavour. Not a huge fan of having pure sugar for breakfast, so instead went for the 'Big Kahuna' which was a nice sampler plate of various items...eggs, potatoes, macadamia nuts and pineapple pancakes, plus meat of choice and a biscuit. Good stuff...and the pancakes were very yummy. The sizing was just right...not too huge nor not too small leaving you with a sense of wanting more. Perfect way to start a day.

After breakfast i toured the grounds as it is something i have wanted to do for some time, but previous trips did not really allow for it. Nice to finally get a layout of the land...so to speak. After getting a lei and a few 'Alohas' from the CMs, it was off to The Magic Kingdom. I arrived just as the gates were opened, which was pretty sweet.

The place was all done up for Halloween as is the norm for this time of year there, and looked great. I met up with Dean, a CM who i remember from a previous trip who had invited myself and a friend visiting for her 1st time into the afternoon parade. This was one of the most amazing experiences for both of us, and i was very happy to be able to thank him in person. I had previously written a very positive letter to Guest Relations after that experience, but it is always nice to be able to thank someone in person.

As noted earlier, the crowd levels were low. Almost all the main attractions were walk on up until later in the afternoon. Of course 'Peter Pan's Flight' had a long line no matter what time of day....but that is what Fast Pass is for! A lot a refurb walls were up...most noteable 'Swiss Family Treehouse' which i noted as it was one of the 'new experiences' i wanted to check out. Yes, outrageous as it sounds, after 25+ visits over many years i have yet to have gone up there! Well, i guess after the refurb it will be a perfect time to see it!

The first attraction i wanted to see was 'The Enchanted Tiki Room'. After seeing the 'Under New Management' version many times and following its demise and refurb back into the mostly original state, i was very much looking forward to seeing this version. I loved it. Everything looked GREAT...and the new signage was very nice to see. The pre-show was interesting...very retro sounding. I am guessing this is the original pre-show..as it was cool to hear the birds actually talk about the 'Sunshine Pavillion'. Wow...yeah....i was geeking out.

Inside the Pavillion was even better. Not only was the show a very welcome return, but everything just LOOKED better visually without all the 'visual clutter' caused by all the added newer lighting fixures seen previously in the 'Under New Management' version. I was VERY pleased to see all of those now removed. It really makes for a far more appealing experience from a visual standpoint. I was really happy to see the return of the 'rainstorm' effects which were sadly underused in the previous version of the show. Those were MISSED! Overall, really happy at the currant state of this attraction.

The Dole Whips tasted better then ever. I think the word is starting to get out to the newbies about this 'must have' when visiting MK, as the lines for Dole Whips were LONGER then most of the attractions that day!

This brings up my next observation.....a LOT of '1st visit' pins this trip. A LOT of newbies...which i found interesting. I wonder if it is the multiple 'Free Dining' offers that have gotten these people to finally visit? Maybe people are just getting the button pins more easily now then previously...making it seem more newbies are around. Maybe a combo of both...but I think this trip was the highest concentration of '1st Visits' i have seen.

That is nothing compared to the huge influx of Cast Members i saw standing around anxious to help or serve Guests. There could be up to six standing around at the entrance to a attraction. I have not noticed this before on previous visits...such a high concentration. I know September is usually a time for the new hires to be trained pre-holiday season...and there were plenty of new CM's there 'earning their ears', but wow, there seemed to be a really high concentration of them about. Really cool for those in the Park though....they were everywhere in multiples and ready to do anything for you. It was fun watching them being trained too....not always able to experience that. :)

More to come in my next post...below!

And now some comments regarding the status of effects in 'Stitch's Great Escape'. I am well aware that this attraction recieves a lot of hate from the Fan Community in general, but i personally enjoy this attraction. I am a big Animatronics fan and enjoy watching The Sargent, Skippy, the jaywalker, and Stitch in action.

When the attraction first opened, it was in its best incarnation but now it seems to be suffering from poor maintence or lack of interest in it's upkeep. This may come as good news to some, but the famous 'chili dog' smell was gone...at least the few days i was there and expereinced the show. I sat in several seats in both rooms and no smells happened.

I noticed that many of the seats were noted to be 'temporarily seized' ( out of order) and had been blocked to prevent Guests from sitting in them. Twice during two different shows, a Guest had a chair that did not lower during the course of the show starting sequence. The CM assigned to watch us in the Teleportation Chamber had to rush over with a flashlight and try to manually trigger it to lower. Once it worked, another show it did not and the Guest and their child were brought to the holding area again to await the next showing. So the seats were not cooperating as well as in the past.It could be from all the abuse the first-timers were giving the chairs. Everyone seemed to be pulling down on them once seated which brought to light how this attraction seems to be mentally labelled as a 'thrill ride' by newcomers. I don't blame them, as the way it is presented in the Guide Maps and in the marketing is that is it a ride even though it is in reality a show! Seeing the various warning signs in both the Guide Map and outside of the attraction easily leads one to beleive it IS a ride..so i don't blame people for thinking so. It was interesting this trip in that many who entered thought they needed to pull down the seat restraints pre-show. Almost the entire room would start and the CM would have to quickly tell them to stop. No wonder so many were not working.

Some good news now....regarding Big Thunder Mountain..and the often talked about 'missing boulder' and black curtain. Probably 'old news' at this point, but worth noting regardless...for those wanting to know the currant status: The boulder is BACK!!! Hooray!!!!:sohappy: Nice to see this addressed and the gaping hole covered in a black curtain now gone. BTMR was awesome as always....for newbies reading: be sure to ride TWICE. Once during the day to enjoy the theming and show elements, and once at nighttime to savour the thrills and the beautifully themed lighting. BTMR...aka 'Tony's Mountain' ( as in Tony Baxter ) is a MUST DO even if you are not a 'coaster person'. I am most definately not a coaster fan..and have not had the courage to even ride 'Space Mountain' ( wimp..i know...lol...) but i LOVE BTMR!!

More good news - Almost all video screens or projection systems i experienced World-wide looked as if they were all recently upgraded with new screens or digitial projection systems. There were of course a few exceptions, but almost all the screens, even the once horrible quality 'Journey Into Your Imagination w/Figment' screens looks far better then they did just a year or two ago. Well done..and very glad to see this. Some of the previous video footage looked very worn the presentation suffered. Now it looks far better..with richer colors. Not a huge 'screen attraction' fan, but i did notice this improvement so wanted to give a shout out.

A couple more comments related to MK before moving onto EPCOT and the others....

I stayed late one night at MK to catch the Main Street Electrical Parade, and since it was the only showing i was caught in a huge crowd. It was the only time during the entire trip i was hit with a crowd issue, but it was expected since it was the only night MSEP was playing. Everyone in town seemed to be there...and it was a bit chaotic. The Parade was great as always, but i have to say that the post-parade aftermath made me raise a eyebrow in somewhat surprise. Let me just say that some Guests are really slobs. I was watching the parade in FrontierLand at the exit gate, and after the Parade ended i headed back down the road towards Liberty Square. The place was trashed...it looked like a mini cyclone had gone through. This was the first time i have come to notive the excessive amount of trash left behind by Guests in a Disney Theme Park. What was surprising is there were no Custodial CMs around as their usually are post-Parade sweeping up in this area. They were out in other areas ahead of me however, so perhaps they had just not gotten that far along yet. It just reminded me of how some people really are not very mindful of their manners, or are just apt to leaving behind all their trash without any thought of being courteous to fellow Park-goers.

Day 2 -

This consisted mostly of EPCOT, my fave Park, but i also sneaked over to Animal Kingdom for early part of the day. Once again, enjoyed the opening ceremony and rope drop..then enjoyed a leisurely stroll thoughout. There is NO 'Commando Touring' for me. Running around like mad trying to pack in so many things in too short of time is always a recipe for disaster. I saw far too many newbies doing this, most with small children in 'meltdown mode', stressed out because they were trying to do too much too soon. Note to newbies - Please take your time and take a break period to recharge not only your own batteries, but ALSO your young childs! Kids, exspecially children under 6, need some time to unwind or take a nap. The common perception is that taking a break will mean 'less time in the Parks' thus 'losing some of our expensive investment' in the trip. The best way to protect that 'investment' is to insure everyone in your group is happy and in a well state of being. Trust me, taking a break and just sitting in the shade on a bench in the Parks will do wonders to help keep your levels up.

Okay..enough lecturing...on to EPCOT.

On the monorail ride into the Park, i was delighted to spy the whirlygig rigs laying backstage behind 'Universe of Energy'. I had forgotten that news had broke here about them being removed, so it was a nice reminder. The areas around the Fountain looked much better...not so visually busy as it was, and cleaner. EPCOT is all about line and design in my mind, not clutter..so it was a nice step to see these removed for a change in appearence. Now if only those big stones at the entrance could be ...well...you know.....

Breakfast at Sunshine Seasons is a great spot to grab a meal, and there was not a lot of people around which made it even nicer. Since they changed the seating area there in The Land from the old fountain tables to the more 'mall food court' vibe it can sometimes be a little crazy their crowd-wise during lunch or dinnertimes. With the lower crowd levels it is a much nicer experience. The food as always is yummy.

As noted previously on these Forums, the film for 'Soarin' could really use a new print. It is still a great ride experience, but the film strip dirt bits and other imperfections caused by multitudes of uses takes one out of the sensation of flight. This may seem nit-picky ..and i am sure 'Guest Average' does not at all notice or care...but for me it is obvious and intrudes on the experience. Is it possible for this attraction to go to digitial projection? Of all the attractions at WDW that could benefit most from a digi projection, this one would be it. Still a great experience...and the smells are better then ever. I actually smelled 'Ocean' this time...which on previous trips seemed to be missing from the scent lineup.

One 'new experience' i tried this time was over in the 'Mission: Space' post-show area. 'Postcards from Space' is a cool e-mailed video clip you can create of yourself and send to your friends and yourself. Definately a fun little surprise to discover and do....it is the last kiosk to your left as you exit into the Gift Shop. Check it out!

SSE - The black curtains in the decent seemed even more noticable now. Hard to explain, but things looked more covered then on previous rides previous trips, the most recent being last year at this time. I really do hope in the future there are plans to present something in the decent. I am aware of this being a hot topic here, and i am in agreement that more needs to be done then what is currant there. Even some neat lighting effects would be better then just 'watching tv in the dark'. Fiber optic starfields would be cool, simple, and add a magical effect.

Caught the new band over at the UK Pavillion and they were very good. I still miss the 'British Invasion' incarnation though...the all-Beatles themed shows were very welcome.

Over in Japan i came across the Art Gallery there...which was well worth finding and checking out. I never bothered going in to have a look before, but since this was the 'do new things' trip i went for it. Glad a did. The entrance is to your left as you enter the Mitsokoshi department store through the fortress gates. Some very cool artwork and Manga fans will love the more modern additions.

More to come.....

Another 'new experience'...the 'Boulangerie Patisserie'. I have visited EPCOT many times since it opened, but never visited here..or even knew there was even this 'side street' in France! It just goes to show you that even after almost 30 years, one can still find new discoveries and new things to do at Walt Disney World...even for someone labeled a 'Worldphile'! Goodies galore here..though i foolishly did not sit in the indoor seating area to see the Beauty and the Beast stained glass window i had read about. Du'oh! Oh well...something to see next time!

'Captain Eo' still rules...i hope it stays here for a long time. Still great..and the audiences i enjoyed it with still cheered and clapped before, during, and after the show. So this presentation is still pleasing the masses which is good to see. Considering when this film was made, the effects i feel still hold up rather well. The spaceship chase sequences still elicit gasps or awe from the audience, at least the two shows i experience this trip. Rock on, Captain.

Oh...and for Park Merch fans of Captain Eo : there is now a large Hooter plush being sold at ImageWorks in EPCOT and Once Upon a Toy at DTD. He is really cool, and very similar to the original produced in 1986. The only thing not quite right is his color - both plushes are grey instead of green which the real Hooter is! Why did they change him to grey in plush form, both then and now?

More merch news for EPCOT fans - LOTS of 'Reto Shirts' and other peices about. Brings your plastic! 'Dawn of a New Age', 'Reto Logo', 'The 20th Century Began..' and a green 'Pavillion Logo' shirt amoung others were spotted. I am sure photos of these are in one of the many Park Merch threads.
Some very cool t-shirts to be had at the ImageWorks shop too...a colorful 'faces in blocks' design with Figment and Dreamfinder was the highlight, as well as a new nightshirt with Figment. Worth a visit..as the Figment shirts here is usually not for sale anywhere else On Property.

Later in the day i slipped over the Hollywood Studios to see the much talked about 'Pixars Countdown to Fun' parade. For all the hate this production has garnered, i had to see for myself in person. Yes, it is a 'cheapened' version of 'Block Party Bash'...yes, i am not too thrilled with the re-themed floats...but you know what? Those Entertainment CMs really gave their ALL that day in the heat and made up for what was a short parade. I enjoyed it because of them. Entertainment always does a great job, i have raved about them before on these very Forums in the past...and this parade was no different. It was their enthusiasim that made it work for me. Yes, the characters were great too...as they often are, but for all the dislike in general for this parade i thought it was fine for what it was. So i applaud you HS Entertainment CMs for doing your best with what little this particular parade has to offer for you. You rock!

I was finally able to see 'Lights Motors Action' after all these years since it opened. I always seemed to miss the showtimes, or i was not able to see it due to other reasons. This trip however i made it a point, and although i enjoyed some elements of it ( the stunts and demo/explaination of how said stunts are done) i really came away with a sense of it now being nothing more then a excuse to promote the 'Cars 2' film. I realize the 'Cars' overlay is a recent additon, replacing Herbie the Love Bug which was originally in the show. I probably would have preferred that version, as now it seems to be a obvious marketing push for the 'Cars' franchise. I suppose kids into 'Cars' will love it....but i was left a bit cold. The stunt guys were great however...i just wish they stuck to the stunts and focused more on the filmaking aspects and less on the 'subplot' involving Lightning McQueen and Mater. Probably not a show i will see again...which i find unusual for me at WDW.

Another shout-out to HS Entertainment - 'Gaston' in the Beauty and The Beast stage show is awesome. I have seen this same performer many times in the past ( he must be THE 'Gaston'! ) and he continues to be one of my favourite stage performers in all the Parks. He has a fantastic stage presense and completely embodies this character in such a finess so fitting to the personality i have to rave. I love the little touches he adds so sharp eyed veiwers watching closely will see and enjoy. A few examples is of him catching his reflection in his knife blade during the 'Kill the Beast' sequence and stopping for a moment to admire himself, as well as at the close of the show when he reappers in the stage wing during the bows to smile and kiss his own arm muscle. Hilarious and totally in character. I love it!

More to come...!

Alright...moving onto Animal Kingdom now...

Pizzafari is a great spot to grab some breakfast. Nobody around ( accept lots of nice CMs!) and it is a much more pleasent experience eating here then at a Resort food court. The revamped menu is a plus, with some interesting new additons. Check it out, and plan a breakfast there when you visit if you go in the morning. The murals on the walls are awesome ( be sure to visit each themed room!) and pay attention to the music playing - all the instumental tracks are or songs related to animals ( 'Blackbird', 'Lion Sleeps Tonight', etc.) :)

Upon entering the Park, i was wowed to see a absolutely awesome topiary creation of Rafiki holding baby Simba up in that famous pose from 'The Lion King'. Behind him were a large Zazu and cool looking Pumbaa ( no Timon though...?). This was fantastic...beautifully done. Do not miss this!

'Festival of The Lion King' is still the best live show On Property. The performers always do such a great job and the revamped/refurbed floats look stunning. Be sure to pay attention to Simba, Pumbaa, and the elephant and giraffe on the floats. These giant characters react to everything going on during the show, and Simba in particular does a awesome job keeping aware of what is going on around him. The execution of the performance is top notch both behind the scenes and in front. I love this show! :sohappy:

Another show i love is 'Finding Nemo the Musical', and this is coming from someone who is not a Nemo fan. Not a big fan of the film, but i really enjoy the live stage version. The concept is brillant, and the performers are always excellent. One of my favourite moments comes at the end of the show, when the performers with the large puppets lower them to accept appluase standing on their own. This is a marvelous moment, as it gives the audience a chance to focus and aknowledge the performer directly instead of his puppet character. Too often one gets caught up in watching the puppets and not what the actual performer is doing, as they are also acting and expressing themselves as any stage performer would even though their hands are occupied. I would recommend seeing this show several times , to watch the puppet performances, and then again to just watch the performers faces. A real treat however you view it.

I did not ride 'Expedition Everest' so cannot add a update on the status of the effects. The waits were not bad at all.

Something cool i saw this visit to DAK - Outside of the exit to 'It's Tough to Be a Bug' there was a drawing of Donald Duck on the pavement made out of a stream of water. It looked as if someone took a water gun or something of the like and squirted the stream of water into a line drawing of Donalds face! This was pretty neat to discover while cutting across the Park on the path that leads from Asia behind the Tree of Life to Africa. Later in the day i used the path again and discovered another 'water drawing' of Mickey under the roots of the Tree, near the waterfall!

Speaking of 'It's Tough To Be a Bug'....the show i saw had no Hopper. He was not in the show at all, so it was very strange seeing the show this way. The reason i go to see this show is just to see him in action, being the Animatronic fan that i am. It was weird hearing his voice but seeing no part of him.

Same goes for 'Dinosaur'....first time i have ever ridden and NOT had the Carnotaur first appear ( the 'Chasing Carnotaur' figure). Instead we hear spinning tires in the dark where the Carnotaur usually starts to appear and Dr. Seeker shout something about 'need more traction'. That was a odd moment...but cool in a way as i had not experienced this previously. I realize this is 'off season' so perhaps these figures are being refurbed? Sure hope so...it was a shame to see them missing.

Oh...and for haters of 'Dino-Rama'......i heard a 8 year old exclaim : "This sucks...!" while walking by a family. They were standing there taking in the view and i just had to laugh at the youngsters comment. This is the second time i have walked through this areas on my way to Asia and overheard a shild exclaim this.
It does not ALL 'suck' however...as I had a ball exploring the inside of 'Chester and Hesters' main shop. Not to look at the merch, but to look at the decor. How many readers here have taken the time to go in there and check out the walls? You will find some hilarious creativity going on in their. 'Imagineers at Play' indeed. I think my favourite find was the gas pump nozzle mounted on the wall that was turned into a brontosaurus with a few lines painted on the wall. Lots of eye candy here...but ya gotta take the time to look! Go for it...you will be glad you did.

Still more to come.....

A couple more things i was able to experience at Hollywood Studios when i returned on Day 4 - the 3-Park Day. Yeah, i hopped around to three Parks just for the fun of it and it was neat to mix it up. This trip i wanted to focus on Hollywood Studios as there was a lot there that i had learned about since last visiting and wanted to check out. So i returned to re-ride 'Star Tours' again and do two experiences i had missed until now.

'The American Idol Experince' finale show was on my 'new things to do' list this trip. I had previously done the auditioning experience a year ago, but never went to any of the stage shows. This visit i made it a point, and i am glad i did. Even though i am not a AI fan and do not watch the show, i really enjoyed being in the audience and getting to see them go through the routine of filming the show. One of the things i miss most about the original Studios was the real focus on the creation of making movies/tv productions and actually getting to watch it being done..for real. This 'AI Experience' stage show brought back a little of that for me which was great. It reminded me of how cool the Studios used to be when the focus was on that and how it still can be. So as much as i am not a part of the whole AI hysteria, i really enjoyed this presentation. The lighting was awesome ( i am a lighting geek..) and watching them film the show to beam it out to the Park Guests watching on the big screen outside the theatre was very cool. The audience was great too. I will do this again next time for sure.

The other 'new thing' for me to experience was the much talked about 'Mr. Potato Head' AA over at 'Toy Story Mania'. I had yet to have seen him in person since the ride opened as i never wanted to wait the hour+ wait times just to see him. I would always use Fast Pass to ride, but the down side to doing this is you miss seeing Mr. Potato Head as he is not visable from the FP line! Well, this trip he was a definate on the list to see...and thankfully i was there when the wait was only 20 minutes. I waited about that time before a CM pulled me out and let me go into the FP line since i was a single rider. That was really nice of him, and it enabled me to throughly enjoy the AA in action up close and with an audience and then jumping ahead in line to what would have been a 35 min wait easily. The updated video segments in the ride itself were a nice surprise, as i did not know they had been changed to coincide with the release of newer characters from 'Toy Story 3'. When Buttercup bounced on the screen, it was nice realization that i was going to be seeing a new version of this ride.

One of the highlights of my recent visit to Hollywood Studio was seeing the new overlay at 'One Man's Dream'. I had heard about the new addtions, but purposely did not pursue details as i wanted to be surprised. Boy...was i ever! I completely freaked at the new AA display, and exspecially geeked out when i saw the additon of the original Figment 'Performing Arts' AA figure! What a awesome additon! I was thrilled to have the opportunity to view him so closely. I fondly remember the original attraction and this particular scene. Seeing this Figment, complete in his original 'Dreamfinder' stage costume was worth the price or addmission that day alone, hands down. This was a real find for me. I loved that attraction, and being able to view one of the original figures so closely was nothing short of awesome. THANK YOU to whoever was involved in making the decision to include him!! :sohappy:

The other rave review comes for the new revamped 'Star Tours'. Three letters....WOW! This was done the right way, and is a absolute winner. I love the multiple locations, and the randomness of the system so every ride is different. Fantastic..and the picture quality and 3D effects are GREAT. I rode several times, over a two day period. Very cool redo.

When exiting the Park i was asked to take a survey about my dining experinces. I always enjoy taking these, as i like to give my feedback when Disney asks for it. The survey was mostly regarding my satisfaction and opnions of where i had dined ( in this case, Backlot Express that day) and also if the Free Dining offer had been the primary reason for my visit. The Guest seated next to me seemed to be taking a survey about his encounters with characters in the Park that day...how many he saw, his opinions on them, and the like. I only came away with that impression as he kept repeating the questions to his wife who was standing next to him.

Lots of cool shirts in Hollywood Studios that i did not see elsewhere, not Park related, but Disney related. Some REALLY neat stuff involving just the Fab Five over at 'Mouse About Town' and the shop next to it. Check it out if you are looking for some unique threads.

Oh...something hilarious i forgot to mention that i saw over at MK during a showing of 'Dream Along with Mickey'......Goofy kicked Donald Duck in the butt! Yes! Hard to! Donald was a bit taken aback....but his reaction was priceless. Totally in character.

Those are the highlights i can think of at the moment...i will add more comments if a remember more that should be shared..
