When the timekeeper parade stopped(or whatever the most recent one was) i was not very happy. I really enjoyed it. If anyone knows any sites or links or info, that would be cool.

Lots of rumors, but nothing has materialized. My guess is that if we see ANYTHING, we'll see it for the 25th anaversary of Epcot. I don't think we'll see ToN 2.0 anytime soon.

Yea, I would agree with that about Epcot's 25th..Celebration. I would love to see another parade at Epcot, preferably with characters.
It would be awesome to have Dreamfinder on the highest peak of a float decorated for the arts and sciences.

Whatever they decide to do about a new parade, I hope they take into consideration audience control. I thought ToN was an OK parade. Maybe a little on the abstract side, but OK.

But, it was impossible to get anywhere once it started. With new attractions staying open later and later in Future World (and therefore guests staying in FW later,) perhaps the parade will stay out of World Showcase.

Wasn't Tapestry of dreams basically tapestry of nations 2.0? yes, there were some differences, but for the most part, it was just a re-designed parade. Even though both versions were amazing!!! I would love to see it return, the abstract part of the parades is what i loved! So different from anything else, and the music was perfect. I espically liked how at the end of ToN, all the lights would go out, and the strobe lights in all the countries would turn on. I was only 10 at the time, but I still remember it, so that's some disney magic right there. :D

and a bit off topic...Epcot could use some new fireworks, RoE is almost 6 yrs. running now. I already have some ideas for "Illuminations 25" (yes, that was already used, but someone needs to come up with a name, putting an end to the Illuminations era would not be right, although it may be what happens.) Hmmm...anyone else think that the original Epcot Enterance Medley could be put to lazers and fireworks? :D :drevil:

Big difference, ToD sucked and had no heart and soul.

I don't know; I still get chills watching RoE. It never ceases to awe me after many times seeing it.

And now for a comment... since It's been a few months since I've commented last on this.

When was the last time you had to take a ride back home from the hospital from a cop because you were injured during a parade and WDW wouldn't send a vehicle or pay for a cab back for you?

Yeah... it's personal.

But on a more objective comment..

Worst reviewed parade in Disney History. Worse than the MGM run of the Mulan parade. Worse than Disney Stars and Motor Cars. Worse than having your ankle broken in the rain.

Worst Parade Ever... at ANY theme park... or road... or empty area that has more length than width surrounded by an audience except at designated entryways for floats and performers.

I was wondering if Rob was going to have a comment on this. I also preferred the original ToN vs. ToD. The crowd control will never get any better, no matter what type of parade you put in. The space is too confining even without a parade going through at times. A smaller version of some other parks parade would be nice. I'm happy roaming the world showcase without the hassle of watching for the parade.

" thread drift" Rob, do you experience any pain or suffering still from this parade? You seem to have a such a negative vibe still to this day. Not meant in any negative way, just want to know if the parade pain still affects you still to this day.

Yeah... my back still hurts to this day. The pain comes and goes, but my back is always sore. I'm too young to have back pain... but I do. The Ms does too from working at WDW, she also has knee pain from her roles in the world.
