Iraq? What would the attraction be? Where are the weapons? Bombs over Bagdad?

Seriously though, if they made a country for Iraq, which is highly unlikly, they could make a film (FOR GODS SAKE, NOT ANOTHER 360!) that shows the good side/peacful side...if that even exsists anymore...you know, something to that effect.

You need to add Spain to the list.

Negotions are underway with the Spanish tourism agency for a new pavillion.

We've already got Spain in a way. Unfortunaly, they dont keep it up all year.

And the whole talks between Spain/Disney have been going for so long its not even funny, doubt it will ever become official.

My first instinct was Australia, but I'm not sure how exciting that would be. What would they have in Australia? All I've ever seen in Australia is Sydney, the outback, beaches, and surfing. Could be nice, but I could more see it in AK.

Egypt might be interesting, but could be pretty close to Morocco in theme.

Final answer: Brazil. Imagine having an new pavillion that would look like Rio. Lots of opertunity for entertainment too with carnivale and samba music.

Simple, Rescuers Down Under theme.

Like I said, I think something like that would fit better at AK than at WS. Have an outbacl themed attraction there with real animals. It would be better than anything they could put in EPCOT.

And if you mean putting an actual Rescuers Down Under attraction there, I think that that would be incredably out of place in World Showcase. I have nothing against character and film-inpired attractions, but World Showcase just isn't the place for it.

And this could be the reason that Australia would need to be included. Surely there is more to it than the outback, beaches, and surfing. Don't forget about the Aborigines and their history/culture and there must be more that we could be educated about. I look at Epcot as an educational entertainment theme park, and this would be a great way to find out more about another country in the world, in a region that is not close to being explored in the World Showcase.

That being said, we can also make the same argument for your choice of Brazil. Surely there is more to Brazil than Rio, carnival, and the Amazon. And South America has no representation there also.

Oh God, not the Matterhorn at EPCOT rumor again.

This rumor died a few months back but orginally, the rumor said that they would be adding Switzerland in with matterhorn....then out of that grew the Rein of Fire coaster rumor at AK, then from that, fire mt at MK in the 20,000 LOTS area....

But I believe in the end, WDI opted to go with Escape from Everest and tossed Matterhorn out the window.

I see some of your point, but there is more to Italy than Venice and more to France than Paris. However, those are both well known cities in those countries and are the central theme of the EPCOT pavillions. You want the pavillions to feel familiar as well as educational. The attractions can deal with many different regions (such as the films, Maelstrom, or El Rio Del Tiempo) but usually the atmosphere of the pavillion should probably somewhat familar to the general public.

I personally think Greece would be a great choice...With the movie my big fat greek wedding (even if it isn't disney), a lot of people are interested in that culture now, if they haven't been already...ive always wanted to go there and alot of people love greek food so a greek restaurant would bring lots of customers...plus, a greek pavilion would be a good excuse to bring out hercules, hades, meg, and so on.

How about Cuba?!?

We need something Caribbean for Epcot (no Mexico's not caribbean). Plus they can advertise their cruise line.
