New Entrance Canopy for The Seas with Nemo and Friends

Doesn't look bad at all. The view will only be blocked from very few angles. Sure this attraction doesn't need FP but if I can still walk on and newbies use their FP window on this instead of TT or Soarin, it's all good.

In the summer this attraction did become quite popular as this was the longest line I waited in my whole trip! I waited 45 minutes and the line was wraping in loops outside the building! I would have loved a fastpass but at least it's a cool line to look at... and I waited longer then 45 minutes a more percise electronic wait time would've been awesome lol

I usually dont like things like this either but it doesnt look so bad, its wavy to match the curves of the pavilion. What bothers me is fastpass, major thumbs down, everything is going to be impossible to get on anymore with awful standby lines, compared to what use to be walk ons. Its just not needed for these types of rides/attractions. The wasting of money continues instead of how it should be used.

Big, clunky and ugly do not match my view of futuristic.

Agreed. The design idea isn't necessarily bad, but the execution is meh. It has a rather large footprint (that support pillar is massive for such a small canopy) that just looks out of scale next to the building and doesn't quite match the swoopy curves of the facade.

That thing looks very out of place. Yes it is better than the umbrella, but it also covers the mural. Also, why do we need FP for Nemo? I have never waited more the 15 mins for that ride?

I'm hoping that thing has an internal gutter from the top (possibly another reason for the large support pylon), otherwise when it rains it'll dump all that water off the back like a waterfall that you have to walk through to get to the entrance, or off the two sides of the low point like a fountain.

Maybe this thing is to re-create The Living Seas movie scene. And it rained...and rained...and rained...and rained.

At first glance, I had put this in the "Meh" pile, but at second look, I kind of like that it reminds me of a whale's tail coming out of the water, and it moved up from "Meh" to "Near-Meh". I like it just enough to have a slight positive opinion on it, but not enough to really spend any more time than this one post discussing said opinion.

I will hold final judgement until I am there next month, but from the picture I like it...the curve seems to match with the building, and is wave-like. I agree that from some angles it will block the mural, but overall I think it may be a nice little addition.
