Boulder Dash might be the scariest ride I have ever been on.In Connecticut, visit Lake Compounce. It's America's oldest amusement park.

And if you are in Boston you could always stop at Wahlburgers......Mark Wahlberg and brother's restaurant. Maybe we'll see you on tv...Interesting fact: my college was in the ballroom scene in True Lies. But Newport has fascinating history. I'm a history geek and the revolutionary war is the best period. Ghost, murder (Emery's). Mansions. We used a ouji (sp?) board in university and talked to the ghosts. Newport is a good day trip. Not a lot to do other than the above. Boston is where it at though.
I remember going to the Salem Witch Museum when I was little. My sister cried so hard from being scared that my dad had to carry her out. I, other hand, found it fascinating and had to be dragged out.And I LOVE Salem, MA, but I refuse to go in the fall because it gets so ^(&*%#$^ busy. But the museums there are a lot of fun, and educational.
and Fenway Park!!!We also have an Earl of Sandwich in Boston.
Also don't forget the USS Constitution, lots of history.
You sound like me, haha.I remember going to the Salem Witch Museum when I was little. My sister cried so hard from being scared that my dad had to carry her out. I, other hand, found it fascinating and had to be dragged out.![]()
the Sox are actually in town and I have never been to any Major League game, but I don't think anyone in our group but me will care.and Fenway Park!!!
Right now, it looks like we'll be doing Portland->Boston->Newport. Portland is supposedly a two hour drive from Boston, so we'll leave Portland in the morning, do Boston stuff that day, lodge somewhere in the Bostonish area and then do Boston stuff most of the next day before driving to a hotel room in Newport or Providence for that night; we'll do the Servants' Life tour the next day.Actually Providence is only an hour away, so anything between here and there will be cheaper. I'd recommend taking the train (the "T") in to the city rather than trying to drive or park there.
Hmmm! Interesting!!! Were you, by any chance, dragged out by an angry mob?I remember going to the Salem Witch Museum when I was little. My sister cried so hard from being scared that my dad had to carry her out. I, other hand, found it fascinating and had to be dragged out.![]()
