New earlier Port Arrival Times

I just read on another site that DCL now has earlier PAT starting at 10:30 and times are in 15 minute increments instead of 30 minutes. Sure enough, I went back into my online check-in for November cruise and now 10:30 & 10:45 show up as options in addition to all of the other 15 min increments. Changed ours from 11:00 to 10:30. I suspect they will not board the ship any sooner but probably just trying to thin out the early arrival crowd.

I saw the same info on another site also so I decided to check my cruise next Saturday and was able to change my time. I had an 11:30 check in time and changed it to 10:30. I'm just wondering now if I should have just let my original time. I don't want to sit at the terminal for that long, time seems to drag by when I'm so ready to get on the ship.
