New E-Ticket?

I thought someone (Martin?) once said that one of the expansion pads was behind Pirates on the other side of the railroad tracks. But I could be wrong :)
You are correct. It is outside the berm. Similar to Space Mountain and the show buildings for Pirates and Splash.

Access would be similar to Indiana Jones at Disneyland.

Two pads in AL.
The one south of PotC and a small one near the Treehouse.

There was a pitch once to put Raging Spirit in the small pad. Balloon tests were dine, but it went nowhere.

Give me a version of thr Indy Adventure on the south pad and I'm a happy adventurer. THAT would get guests into MK.

Do you think the rumored expansion of the JC track would involve the small pad near the Treehouse?

This is the kind of thing I'd like to see. Why tear down existing attractions when you can use space and add more total rides.

Can you offer an idea as to what other potential expansion pads exist in the MK? Is it even possible that we might get more attractions in the future that expand the park?

again, i hope there are no repeat rides. if something new does come to WDW, let it be a new atraction. keep each disney park unique. please, no duplicate rides, shows, attractions. seeing new things is what made our trip to DL so great!!!

Yes, but it's better than nothing. Maybe they could make the ride smoother and different somehow? Replace the Indiana Jones show @ DHS w/ something like it!

Seriously, listen to GLaDOS. I'd rather have nothing. RS isn't an E and if they use up an AL pad on that thing, my head might just explode.
Off hand, I'd rather see Journey to the Center of the Earth cloned for Adventureland than Raging Spirits. You can argue it doesn't fit into the theme as well, though, I guess.

That would be a major tight fit. But MI does fit perfectly over Speedway. Someone actually mapped it out on google earth and it fits like a glove :D

Wholeheartedly agree. Further, I can only imagine the response if Disney became aggressive and added something close to the original Lost Expedition ride complex. Having a portion of the MK train and JC passing through the mountain, while two E-ticket rides wrap throughout it would be an incredible experience.

Oh well, one can dream, right?

I read an article that claimed that a new e-ticket of "Raging Spirits" from Disney Tokyo would be coming to Adventureland. What do you think about the possibility of one more thrill ride added to the Kingdom? Then there would be a coaster in every land: Space Mountain, Seven Dwarves Mine, Big Thunder Mountain, and then Raging Spirits.

On-ride POV

What do you think?

No thank you....

In terms of expansion, if they wanted to, couldnt they move the utility area south-west across the water and then just have a bridge across to get to Caribbean way? it would open up expansion for AL and FL.

There was a Hollywood Studios fan-created park layout by Randy Savage which had an Indy ride in it for a sort of Lucas Land. His idea was to theme it after Atlantis. It was named Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis IIRC. I assume named after the adventure game on PC's back in the 90's. So that could be an interesting but different take on an Indiana Jones story in ride form.

Speaking of old Lucasarts games, shame the Monkey Island point and click game series isn't a massive franchise everyone knows about or i'd say that would make for an interesting concept for Adventureland. I even heard the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are based on elements from the game (and that the game itself apparently took elements from the original ride). Go figure, but i'd be very intrigued to have an attraction based on it. Again if only it were such a household name, doubt Disney cares about it since it's not such a well known franchise.

Busch Gardens coasters are much more impressive.

I've only ever been to Busch Gardens once (class field trip in elementary school) and didn't enjoy the park at all. It probably didn't help that one of their coasters gave me a pounding headache for the rest of the day and I wound up paired with these girls that didn't even like me. I'd rather go to WDW headache free and surrounded by people that actually like my company. ;)

But yeah, I will agree that Busch Gardens' coasters are much more impressive. The one time I did go, SheiKra had just opened, and everybody including myself was in awe over how intimidating it looked. Which is more than I can say about Raging Spirits.
