Hmmm... Interesting... are there any official announcements as to which rides are going to be there?
Just lots of speculation.
Nemo, a Cars themed teacup sort of ride, but nothing official.

The nemo ride looks amazing!!

It does look good.
A couple of things still bother me.
It still just a redressed wild mouse coaster (from what I understand).
I don't think it uses wet/dry technology.
And as someone points out on that forum, according to the last nemo picture before you see the Cars pictures they show movie set lighting. So you are taking part in a movie shoot?!? I don't know...I understand that it's a movie studio park but it seems like a bit of a rip off to me.
I hope the rumoured Nemo attraction for TLS at Epcot is better (not a wild mouse coaster). I'm sure the Nemo subs at DL will be great!
Any bets that the next land at TDS in Tokyo will be a Nemo themed land.
That little clown fish is everywhere now!
BTW Welcome to the boards Crazy Harry. Great Avatar!!!!

Look at the first concept of the car design....

Similar?

I really do hope it's a Maurer Söhne. They are infinitely better than the Reverchon Spinning Mice. I'd go as far as to say that Dragon's Fury is in my Top 5 coasters in the UK.

There aren't any speculations anymore. Check out the videos on this site, http://www.dlrp.fr, from the fan-event of this weekend. During this event, fans from DLRP were treated to an inside look at the coming attractions. Crush's Turtle Twister and Cars were explained in detail, as well as the upcoming Tower of Terror ride. In other words, it's all official now...

Thanks Jorn!
I am embarrassed to admit being a Canadian and yet my French is 99% gone.
I saw the video links, are they in English or French (I'm at work and don't want to open them right now :D ).
Could you explain the details of the attractions? And if any other attractions are going to be part of Toon Studios?

Thanks for the welcome JR. :D

I honestly think there will be few simularites between the paris and florida versions other that the characters. Living seas will likely keep a simular ride type as is currently installed and is also restricted by the area in which the sea cabs occupies. And is there any offical word that the paris ride is basically a wild mouse, or is it more along the lines of mr toad which would be just fine in my book?

Hi, don't worry, the videos are mostly in English. This is the second fan-event organised by the resort and after the bad reviews the first event got, they have listened. The first event was in January, to say farewell to Space Mountain: de la terre a la lune (or something like that), and it was almost all in French. The videos they showed were dubbed in French (even Shoot for the Moon, THE documentary about SM mission 1). So they received some complaints and this second event was mostly in English.

There are only some voice-overs in some movies which are French, but the images tell enough (I'm Dutch and my French was never my strongest point)

For some more movies you could also check out these two websites:
- http://kyoto.free.fr/?M=D The top most videos are from the event, the other videos are also worth checking out!
- http://dlpreisgids.chrismedia.co.uk Keep checking out this site (also available through http://www.dlp-reisgids.be) with update videos about DLRP every couple of days/weeks

Enjoy!

Jorn
