My idea is a new ride that combines technology from USIOA Spiderman ride with roller coaster track. It is called Viewtiful Joe: The Ride. Yes Viewtiful. The ride takes the idea of a video game in which a superhero named Joe goes into Movie Land to save his girlfriend. He is able to make things go in slow motion, super-speed and zoom abilities. The ride begins as you are loaded into a roller coaster car that looks half like the JIYI car and half like the Space Mountain car with 4 rows of 4. You enter into the next room which looks like a movie theater with a huge screen infront of you. This is where you learn that Joe is looking for a few good men to help him save his girlfriend. With that the car dips under the movie screen and we are lauched into Movie Land. Here we see a mix of comic book looking background as well as movie screens that blend in with the layout along with AA. As you stroll through the first part of movie land a AA Joe pops up and says that he wants to try the zoom ability. You go into the next room and it looks like everything is small compared to the track and Joe who will show up on screen and in AA form. Joes says its pretty cool but its time to find his girfriend. Your ride turns and you go down a medium size drop as the background of this area is back to normal. All of a sudden you see some bad guys pop up. They start to grown in numbers in AA and movie screen form. Joe tells you its time to go into slow mode as your ride starts to spin along the track and the movie screens around you look like you are going very slow as Joe beats up the bad guys. The next room shows a growing number of baddies and Joe tells you its time to run go into mach speed. You ride then shoots off a long stretch of track like as fast as RNR. At the end of this blast off you are shot up a hill and down a small incline. The car slows down and you see the bad guy with Joes girfriend. "It's on!" Lots of pyro and stuff breaking around you as Joe fights the bad guy. Your ride plummets down a huge hill and the next screen shows a beaten bad guy and Joe's girlfriend kissing Joe. He thanks you for helping find his girl. The ride ends. I think this would be a cool idea, even for people who don't know the video game because it could look really cool and would be good for Disney Studios because it shows off Movie Land and the idea of what a camera and editing does with the speed, zoom and slow down effects.
