Well as the license contract stated between TWDC and Childrens Place there is now a new seperate Disney Store site specifically for Disney Store with Disney Shopping being used for Disney Consumer Products to sell its goods like it did with the Disney Catalog before.

The new Disney Store site is pretty nice looking-check it out.

I think this is interesting, because I just got an email from Disneyshopping.com that says "Disneyshopping.com is now the exclusive online destination for The Disney Store." Disneystore.com has the same offers (free shipping on $60 purchase and same interface as Disneyshopping.com) I'll bet this is a somewhat meaningless distinction, just like the one between Disneyshopping.com and Disneyoutlet.com.

I would presume Disney now controls The Disney Store once again?

No and yes. From what I read at the store where I work, Disneystore.com will sell the clothing, toys, and things like that while Disneyshopping.com will sell larger, bulkier items like funiture and bedframes. I may have misread it, but I'm pretty sure that's what I saw.

So, how has the relationship between The Walt Disney Company and The Children's Place changed? Who controls the website (looks like Disney), and who controls the stores?

Has there been a revision to the contract?

Nothing has changed.Part of the origional contract was to have CP have its own website seperate from Disney shopping. Now DS is operated by CP while Disney Shopping is run by TWDC. Its just linked (per contract) to the Disney website since most people have no clue that its now Childrens Place.
