Wallpaper Contest: WDW College Program!

Howdy kids!

With the blessings of the powers that be (okay, it was just MKT, but that's good 'nuff!), we're going to have another special topic contest. As it is the Fall recruiting season for the Walt Disney College Program, I thought it would be fitting to do a contest based on the College Program. For those who don't know anything about it, check out the Walt Disney Company forums, the official website (http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com) or ask one of the many CPs, former CPs and Campus Reps who are members on the board. (I'm one of them)

So here's the contest --

Wallpaper 700x525 (as always) No DPI limit on this one. Must be JPG, GIF or PNG. No Flash for this one.

Animation is okay, but file size has to fit within the limits of the board.

The topic is the Walt Disney World College Program. Somewhere, it should use the special set of Mickey ears (or something similar) that they use so prevalently on the official website. (an example is posted below)

The deadline is Saturday the 18th at Midnight (when I'll have time to close the thread).

That being said, you started the contest, however, I'm finding use of that logo to be a bit of a pain my , so sorry bud, I've exluded it from mine.

Amidst all the joke entries that are bound to come in, I decided to quickly put together a "real one"

I wasn't too thrilled with the topic, so it probably shows in my entry

Well, we may have a winner by default! The contest ends tonight, and voting will be up (assuming we get more entries) tomorrow... if not, we'll start a contest tomorrow, and I'm going to run back and look and see who gets to pick the topic...

That being said, here's my entry. If Imagineer99 and I are the only entries (Rob's didn't show up, so I'm assuming he removed it... but I'll check), he wins by default.

On the advice of a very wise man, I'm going to extend this contest to get a few more entries. Got a few late posters and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few other entries (might even be along the lines of tenchu... and the CP has been around since 81, by the way. )

The deadline is hereby extended until Friday night, around midnight, when I shall post voting, with whatever entries be available at that time.

Sorry for those who don't like the topic, we'll do better next time. There is stuff out there, just have to dig!

Now get back to work on those zesty wallpapers!

Seeing how these contests are taking longer and longer to complete...
I think we should have the default Halloween Contest 2004 next... as we usually have a Halloween wallpaper contest... and the winner of this particular WDWCP contest gets to pick the next contest AFTER the Halloween one.
