Um, the song isn't David Cook singing. It's not even David Cook's song.

His song is "The Time of My Life" (the commercial says 'your life'), and the lyrics/melody are entirely different.

I think the commercial is cheesy, but many other people seem to like it, and I guess that's the point of marketing.

Oh, and by the way, I still don't understand why everyone thinks it's David Cook singing in the new commercial. It's a totally different song than his and vocally and stylistically it sounds nothing like him.:shrug:

I must agree with you. The other commercial is more nostalgic--making you want to return. Maybe it's geared more toward those of us who can't get enough (and secretly fantasize that cartoon animals surround them),
