I think they are saying these characters are not characters from Alice in Wonderland. They're not supposed to be the flowers from that film.

This thread. All over the place people complain about the oversaturation of IPs in the park, and here we have characters not apparently from any movie but just to add some ambiance for spring, and people are going, "WHY?!? It's Easter and we should have Thumper or Roger Rabbit or Br'er Rabbit or any rabbit from an existing IP!!!"
