Walt Disney Studios names new chairman

Rich Ross has been named the new chairman of The Walt Disney Studios to replace ________ Cook, who resigned in September.
Ross's current job as president of Disney Channels Worldwide will serve him well in this new role. He will head up the company's film labels, including Walt Disney, Touchstone, Miramax and Disney/Pixar. Some of his duties will include worldwide production, distribution and marketing of those brands. Ross will also oversee Disney's theatrical and music groups.
