Most of us have seen the new commercials that show someone opening a card or something, and the Mickey balloons start coming out, right. Well those balloons will soon be all over the busses and monorails. Right now, only 3 busses have the stickers on them. but they'll be put on as each one goes to the shop for maint. And they're supposed to put them on the monorails as well. can't promise that cuz i'm not in monorails, but i am in busses, and have seen the stickers on the busses. And if you ask me. the busses look funny with the stickers on them. But we already look ridiculous in those purple costumes that were designed by Mrs. Eisner. Yes, i said Mrs. Eisner.

^I'm okay with the balloons for the most part, but the size of the balloons makes a huge difference. The ones that are visible on Monorail Yellow are nice, just about the right size. to make it look like the monorail is filled with Mickey balloons. However, the ones on Orange are just way too big. The balloon shouldn't be bigger than the window itself. Its all forced perspective (something I thought Disney was rather good at doing); making them too big just ruins the allusion and looks kinda tacky IMHO.

I actually like the balloon design better than the graffiti they had for YOAMD in 2007. I think it's nice and not too overbearing. :)

I can't speak for the busses, but the monorail design gets larger as it reaches the center of the train, and is then reversed to get smaller as it reaches the opposite end of the train. The largest balloon is blue and in the center of the train.
I like that the transportation gets into the celebration. With so much land to cover, seeing some indication of this year's theme makes the whole Disney property more exciting. Why should your celebration start after entering a park-my fun starts as soon as I drive under the main gates-so i like seeing the theme as soon as possible!

Its nice to see some festive additions.

Next November, I would like to see all the busses and monrails outfitted with external LED lights that blink in sequence with holiday music that plays through external speakers mounted on the outside. I would also like all handrails within the monorail cars and busses adorned with live holly garlands and mistletoe.

Oh...okay. I guess that makes sense but... why would they make it so they get bigger in the middle? :veryconfu I'm not quite getting the reasoning for that...

And speaking of "seeing the theme as soon as possible," have balloons made their way to the main entrance archways, or do we still have the dream castle in the clouds?

I've always felt that anyone who is brave enough to wear purple pants, is bound to be very trustworthy. Luv the balloons and the pants! I know I'm truly at WDW when I see people wearing yellow stripes and others wearing purple pants!!:sohappy:
