This offerings for this years ERIDE nights have changed alot...


The Following will NOT BE OPEN

HAUNTED MANSION
COUNTRY BEAR JAMBOREE
ALIEN ENCOUNTER (goes without saying)

The FOLLOWING HAVE BEEN ADDED

PETER PAN'S FLIGHT
WINNIE THE POOH
PHILHARMAGIC

The FOLLOWING HAVE NOT CHANGED

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR
SPACE
SPLASH
THUNDER

The FOLLOWING I am not sure of..

ASTRO??
TTA??

THEY WILL BE HELD EVERY MONDAY, WED, AND FRI from MAY 31st to AUG 13th

Consider this OFFICIAL.

From what I here, CBJ was on the list to provide at at least a few family attractions.

OLD LIST

Splash - height restricted
Space - height restricted
Thunder - height restricted
AE - height restricted
Astro - health restricted
Haunted Mansion - some children find it to scary

So, you had, TTA, BUZZ and CBJ

Now, if PAN, POOH and PHILHAR have been added, maybe they feel that that is enough family.

so much for fantasy land concourse being closed off during this time. great additions! definately gives it for bang for your buck with philharmagic.

They are doing everything possible to get me to visit this summer.

I had made a firm resolution to skip taking the kids to WDW this summer but....
resolve failing...new Eride line-up and Extra Magic Hours.....
must be strong.....:veryconfu

I agree fully. But I love the HM especially at night. WTP is awesome and so is PP. But I wish HM was still there.

HM at night is the way it's supposed to be!

How many times do you walk out into that bright afternoon sunlight and then squint for the next 10 minutes? :hammer:

I'm not crazy about the lack of HM, but other than that, the new line-up is AWESOME!!!!!!! Bravo, WDW, Bravo! I can't wait for this summer's vacation! :D

I really hope TTA is still up and running. What about the POTC rumor? Is that definitely a no-go now?

Awesome! I WILL be doing E-ride Nights this year. Fantasyland being open is great. Those rides are too crowded during the day anyway. These rides without the wait? It is going to be fun. I'm just going to miss Haunted Mansion at that time of night. OH well.

A question about E-Night: Can you buy your ticket the day you arrive, or do you have to wait until the day of the night to get it?

CBJ is an "evening" attraction, much like BTMR and HM in many senses. This, unlike Philharmagic, fits it in.

Alas, the times, they are a changing.

But the bears, they are still a'playin'. :D

Needless to say I'm probably not going to be doing any more E-Ride Nights. The reasons are pretty obvious :lol:
Another reason is that by this time next year hopefully the FREE Extra Magic Hours will be in place.

How is CBJ an "evening" attraction :confused:

No... I think Philharmagic is a much better attraction for the ERIDE nights. More popular, new, and exciting!

I can see how the mountains and HM fit in as being an "evening" attraction... But I dont see how CBJ fits in... :confused:

The original CBJ (not necessarily Christmas or Vacation) has an evening-show flair, especially brought out in the dark lighting and lamp setup. Or, at least this is the impression I've felt for the past 33 years.

While I would definitely see PhilharMagic on any occasion, I just feel that CBJ is more in the mood of the evening, much like Haunted Mansion.

Thanks for the update, FLcastmember! We'll be there in August, and while I'm a big fan of HM, the three attraction trade will work out great for my family!

August 13th is the last Friday of the summer season. After that, the new Evening Extra Magic Hours system will most likely be introduced as park hours are knocked back.
