New Attraction? But Where?

The topic of what new attraction everyone would like to see built has been discussed time and time again. However, where would you like to see your next attraction, why and what will it be?
Mine would be something new but with the old touch. I would absolutely love to see a Jungle Cruise type attraction @ AK. I know they have the safari, but I like the plastic, corny animatronics and absolutely love the humor associated with the attraction. Just update with new animals and such! Eh....probably not the best idea but that is what I would love!
And now your responses!

I think something big and original needs to be built for the Magic Kingdom. Its needs something new in there, or possibly the never built Under the Sea adventure for Fantasyland should be built. Just a thought.

I would love to see an attraction that mirrored the old Time Keeper. I loved Time Keeper and with the new advances in Multi-Display, Animatronics, and special effects the extent that you could take a 360 degree film is endless. Circlevision is still existent in Canada and with the Mexico and Norway refurbs let's move to Canada and do something spectacular.

Maybe take a bit of Soarin', Time Keeper, O'Canada and mix them all together. Since Disney loves to incorporate it's films, lets say that Brother Bear takes you on a journey through Canada via circlevision, live action footage but with filters on it to give it an animation look to correspond with the animated bear. Incorporate special fx in the theater such as wind, scents, and maybe even an Animatronic Kida to guide you in the theater, he can pop in and out of different areas of the theater. Take it even further and put the floor on a slight motion base so that when the camera takes you, say over a cliff as Brother Bear (sorry forgot his name) jumps off a waterfall the floor moves ever so slightly that you just have that sense of falling. You could do so much with it...

WDI! Are you reading this!!

Unlikely since it just got Everest, but since this is all blue-sky dreaming anyway, I think AK badly needs another E-Ticket. Same with MGM.

Without question, it has to be an e-ticket attraction at MGM.

MK has 3...the 3 mountains.
EC has 3...TT, M:S and Soarin'
AK has 3...Safari, Dinosaur and E:E

MGM has 2...ToT and RnRC

A 3rd e-ticket at MGM is SO necessary right now. The park really needs it and it would nicely round out the e-ticket attractions throughout WDW.

The Indy ride from DL would be nice, but something brand new, from the ground up, would be great!!!

I've always thought a great e-ticket for MGM would be an Aladdin themed attraction, using the flying carpet concept as the ride vehicle, and state of the art AA. Maybe even incorporate some 3D technology. The vehicle could be an EVM that allowed the seating platform to unlock from the base, and lock onto a rail system that would allow the illusion of flying, with increased speeds and dips. I don't know if something like that is possible. Sorry if I'm not explaining it very well...an engineer I'm not!

Dashing through the cave of wonders, the parade, flying around the known world, the fight with Jafar...the scenes have definite possibilities. Who knows what new technology WDI could come up with for a cutting edge experience.

Oh well, on to TOT while I wait for that one to happen.:D

Top locations in each park:

Magic Kingdom - Old 20,000 Leagues Area
Epcot - WOL and Universe of Energy footprint
The Studios - Backstage
Animal Kingdom - Camp Minnie Mickey

I think the main thing Disney needs right now is a new attraction, and the where doesn't really matter. When I say new, I mean totally new, something like no other park has. You hear a lot of talk on the boards of e-ticket; but, a lot of the rides that are considered e-ticket, I do not feel really are.

Disney needs to give us another unique attraction that cannot be found anywhere else. As of late, the amusement industry is kicking around the term "hybrid ride" or a ride that that is new, but is basically the better parts of two well know rides. Two key examples of this are Spiderman @ Universal and Curse of the Dark Castle @ Busch Gardens Europe. Broken down, they are just ride through 3/4-D movies. Now enter Toy Story Mania, you take a ride through 3/4-D movie and add the element of shooting at things---Great, e-ticket attraction, but still just another hybrid.

I do not know where other parks get their ideas for rides. Do they come from a team of people from inside the parks or an outside company? I do know where Disney gets its ideas, they are called Imagineers. I think it is time that they (the Imagineers) stepped up the game a bit.

[sorry, I do love Disney World, and I will still go a couple of time a year even if they never open a new ride]

I think the Living Character Initiative is very original and innovative.

I would be a very happy camper if the next thing Walt Disney World Imagineering focused on was obliterating Camp Minnie Mickey and building at least SOMETHING relating to BEASTLY KINGDOM and then constructing a new land on the western edge of Animal Kingdom,I really like the idea of Australia.

I would also like it if maybe WDI toyed around with the idea of a Muppets themed ride. Then again, I'm a Muppet nut!:hammer:

BEASTLY KINGDOM
So what if Universal stole the dragon-themed coaster idea? There's LOTS of other mythological creatures that can star in this area's big attraction. How about a Gorgon? (Medusa) Or a Minotaur? Or Cerberus? Come on Disney!

REVAMP IMAGINATION
Rip out the current version and give us a gorgeous ride that actually USES all the ride space... considering how awesome the original was, I'd love to see how Imagineers can use modern technology to take us on an even more vibrant journey through imagination... with Figment and Dream-Finder, of course.

LIGHT CYCLES
Drop that old go-kart track in Tomorrowland and gimme a wicked Tron ride!! Please?

A KINGDOM HEARTS ATTRACTION
Would fit nicely in Fantasyland, especially for us "big" kids.

I like both of these ideas, but I'd like to see an Arctic land rather than another semi-tropical one.

Doesn't the studios have star tours?
