Good stuff, Nice to see my footage of Monster Show being used :).
Thats my parents working the sound stages!!!

Superstar Television was nice too, When my cousin went, He got picked to be the baseball kid.

Never saw Here Comes the Muppetts and it seemed like a cool show, Never seen the muppets at disney besides Kermitt.

Ninja Turtles rocked too, I have video of them doing "Santa Claus is coming to town" (it was xmas 93), and myself getting autographs of them.

So what are these "special nights" that sorecy in the sky is being used? never heard that

EXCELLENT work :)

My gosh...this was tremendous. How much video do you have for other parks? Epcot, perhaps? Otherwise, it was really hysterical to see the walking tour (aka Universal Cinemagic ripoff), and them advertising the "big" live action movies of the day. (honestly...I can't believe they really thought that Dic k Tracy was going to be REALLY that big! Then again, we've all been to Universal Studios and they seemed to be showing off a set for what's to big the next big thing...and then it tanks at the box office)

(if you've been reading DisneyWar recently, it comments on how Disney-MGM Studios was part on a big push by Katzenburg towards Disney live-action films, which were successful in 1988-1990, but never again until around 1995)...

Either way, tremendously put together, Marni! I'd give it a standing ovation if only Part 2 would starting being sent!...

Thanks goldenstate. I`m glad you like it (part one upto now!)

As you may have guessed I am deeply interested in WDW and DLP`s history, I have done plenty more videos (a LOT of EPCOT Center as you mentioned) - have a look here

Well, I FINALLY downloaded/watched both of the videos (Big thanks to Dolby for hosting it), and they were fantastic!! I really liked re-tracing the steps of the old 2 hour tour. I can't believe how close we came to getting Muppet Studios at the park. Do you have any footage of The Lottery with Bette Midler, Marni? (Not asking for it, just curious) I never thought I'd see Here Come the Muppets again, let alone with such amazing video quality. I had completely forgotton the mouths on the character heads could move. I loved the Movie Ride stuff too. The early footage of the Busby Berkeley stuff without the screen they have up now was great to see. I even knew the Mugsy from the holdup scene (the home video portions of it). Funny seeing him again. And that shot of Roger Rabbit's Hollywood. Arg! So frustrating to think of what could've been. Overall, very informative and very well edited. Your use of source audio and music is a wonderful touch. Thanks for putting it together and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Thanks everyone.

Unfortunatley, due a technical issue (partially corrupted hard drive last night) it may a while until I do any more. All, well most, of my data is intact, but my PC is just like out of the box again. I have 80 gigs of programs and data to sift through and reassign. Even down to my windows theming and email settings. In short.. A PAIN!

Man that is terrible. I'm thinking I'm going to get an external hard drive to back everything up in case something like that happens. Hard drive failure is one of my biggest fears in life :)

Downloading as I type this. If they are anything like your DLP videos, I will love them. You have singlehandedly made me want to seriously start planning a trip to DLP. Those three videos were incredible.

I'm hoping this one will have a shot down Hollywood Blvd to the Chinese Theatre. Oh how I miss that view!

Huge thanks to both Martin and Dolby!
