New Apple tech will allow purchase of park tickets on Itunes?

What ever all I am going to say is get used to it because it is your future.

I am going to stick a bookmark in this and come back to it in a few years.

It may be around in some other shape or form - perhaps RFID, if they can work out the personal security/privacy bugaboos. But in a few years when iPhones are no more and the next big thing is on the way this should be an interesting post.

I can't tell you the amount of tech - both stuff the average consumer would use, and stuff that nobody outside of somone who works in telecomm would recognize - was touted as the wave of the future that we better get used to, and it then died on the vine and was replaced by something that was either different or improved.

Now I am going to go get a snack out of my fridge that scans the barcodes for me and cook it in my web enabled oven. Then I am going to go watch a laser disc.

If this does happen it won't e imited to any specific device. The online or web sales aren't done through disney and the company that does do the sales prefers not to limit themselves to iphone or BB or any other platform. I know I am not looking forward to anything like this purely based on the fact that scanning tickets in the sunlight is already difficult. Oled screens in florida in the afternoon forget about it!

The article is apple fanboy garbage. This stuff is already in devolopment by all the major ticketing companies anyway.

I could be wrong but this sounds really convenient (if it works)? Also it could eliminate the photopass cards and maybe even room keys. Then think about all of the interactive things that you can do while online. Also if this takes off a lot of the ticket sources you cited could become obsolete

I do not see this eliminating room keys.. What if your phone gets wet? Your ticket is lost...Alot of people, including myself keep the theme park tickets as a souvenir....
