Wink nudge <cough> full-day park.
Right! When SWL and TSL open AND EPCOT gets its upgrades, you'll have to plan a good 10 day trip with AK now.

Thanks for posting about it. I don't watch a whole lot of TV so I didn't know about it... just finished watching. I have a question, probably a dumb question. What was that scary bridge that they were walking across? Obviously not something I've done yet. Is that a special tour or what? And, can anyone get a tour of the animal hospital like they showed?
The bridge was the Wild Africa Trek https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/animal-kingdom/wild-africa-trek/
(wow that price seems to have gone up...now $189-249).
I'm not sure about the animal hospital.
That's part of the Wild Africa Trek. There are actually 2 bridges. You walk over them one at a time. A CM is standing at a station in between them. You cannot stop and have a conversation with your party like they did in the show tonight. You walk over the alligator exhibit. They take really nice pictures of you with the gators underneath. We used the pictures we have of the kids on our Christmas card that year. Thanks for posting about it. I don't watch a whole lot of TV so I didn't know about it... just finished watching. The vet part was at Conservation Station right in the park. It didn't look like the special behind the scenes tour. We saw a goat get a check up there. The bridge was the Wild Africa Trek https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/animal-kingdom/wild-africa-trek/

Edit: It looks like the hospital tour is part of Backstage Tales. $90. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/animal-kingdom/backstage-tales/
I laughed out loud at the family entering the empty FoP queue... all by themselves...Ok - 3 things driving me crazy about this show so far:
1) How many times can they say "Disney's Animal Kingdom"?
2) Where is everybody? The place is empty except for the chosen families.
3) Grammar thing - "The family is (not are)"
...and the Wild Africa Trek is usually a group of @ 10-12 people. They were the only ones.I laughed out loud at the family entering the empty FoP queue... all by themselves...
I watched it but don't remember any features of DinoLand (except Finding Nemo musical). Were there any?
So either there's nothing that's "Alive with Magic" in this part of the park to feature or maybe they want this special to be around for years and DinoLand won't be. Isn't that the next area rumored to receive some updates?
I did the Savor the Savannah in January and it was just myself, my dad and one other couple. Was a very private experience....and the Wild Africa Trek is usually a group of @ 10-12 people. They were the only ones.
I suppose they did the best they could to provide us with our fix of pixie dust and show others the magic of just being there with all the different experiences you can have.
You're kidding right? The whole thing was a commercial.Tree of Life and ROL seem a liiiiittle like a commercial right now.
My wife kept shushing the kids. LolYou're kidding right? The whole thing was a commercial.
Didn't stop me from eating it up like a sucker.
It's cheaper in the summer. $50 off I believe. The bridge was the Wild Africa Trek https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/animal-kingdom/wild-africa-trek/

Are you sure? I didn't see anything in that segment besides the public space in the Conservation Station.I'm not sure about the animal hospital.
