New Alien Encounter Tribute Video

I recently completed an Alien Encounter tribute video and it should be available on popkid's server soon. The video features:

*Complete Original Attraction Audio. Including a completely different 2nd preshow and main chamber show than what we were all used to.

*Brand new reencoded DigitalDisney video of the attraction. This is truely one of the best videos of AE i have ever seen and he was kind enough to let me debut the high quality version in this tribute video

*Picture Slideshow Ending. Featuring the exit audio with some of the best Alien Encounter pictures I could find from various places on the internet.


I hope that once the video is up on the server, all Alien Encounter fans can enjoy this video. My main goal in doing this was to let people know of the original version of the show and to help them remember the attraction. Enjoy!

I've previewed this video, and I promise that all of you AE fans will love it. It's got pictures and sounds that I have never seen or heard before. Every AE enthusiast needs a copy of this video.

The video is now available on popkid's server over at #disney-central. The video is 36 minutes and it is 144 MB long. I hope you all enjoy.

Just go to popkid's !video server and it is up in the Alien Encounter section. No word yet if it has made it's way to other servers yet. Make sure to come back and give your reaction.

I finally got back on Disney-Central for the first time in months today....

DX, you have done one amazing job. :sohappy:

It was great to hear the v1 audio. I must say though, I wasn't that impressed. The Phil Hartman voice-over wasn't that great, and neither was the audio inside the main chamber. Looks like v2 is the better attraction, even though v1 sounded scarier.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I personally kinda liked the Hartman preshow. I thought it was funny in it's own way, but it was a totally different type of humor from the main chamber (The main chamber is dark humor all the way).

And yes V2 was MUCH better, from the sound of things. V1 sounded incomplete to me.

It is on popkid's server. Just go to !video and then go to Walt Disney World Resort. Then go to Magic Kingdom and then Alien Encounter. The file just says Alien Encounter Tribute Video and it is 144 MB long.

Let me know if you are having any more problems getting the file :wave:
