wow! they sure didnt mess around moving the old dumbo!! looks like they are well on their way taking down the little elephants (hopfully housing them somewhere safe and give them a tidy up!)wonder if they plan on taking the whole thing over in one peice or they going to have to dismantle it entierly?!

Thanks Mr. Keating!! There's so much to see. I love that the pathway from TL to the Storybook train station is still there. I also see that the steel is going up for what I'm assuming is the kitchen for Gaston's Tavern. That section of the expansion will be completely enclosed soon.
Interesting that Storybook will have orange concrete rather than the red in the rest of FL. Already looking forward to our 2013 trip. I wonder if I'll be able to use my DVC points at GFV by then?:drevil:

Thanks as always Scott for the great shots.
Looks like they are putting up another building between Beasts Castle and Little Mermaid block the MK access road. I did not see anything but open space on earlier shots.
It also looks like a lot of the concrete curbing work is done in Circusland. They are moving right along, but only 4 more weeks puts us ito mid February and there is a lot of work to do still.

That is going to be a bridge over a waterway that takes you to Belle's village.

There is a lot of curbing work right next to the train station on the side towards the smaller tent. I am wondering what this is going to be. As far as I know we haven't heard what is going there and it's not clear from any of the art I have seen.

Amazed to see that they have started to work on the planters close the station.
One week there is nothing, the other they cleared all building materials and started on the grond work.
I wonder how fast they can put the walkways down.
If they can get the ground work done next week then I give them just a other week to make it all the way from the station to the connecting pathway near the new dumbo's.

When you brought up the Beast's Castle...it got me thinking.
I can't WAIT to see the lighting effects of the New Fantasyland! I envision sparking "jewels" coming out of the mine...and cool effects on Beast's Castle as well as maybe some lighting in the water around Eric's castle.
I'm wondering if the actual trees will have lighting effects (maybe owl eyes coming from the trees).
I'm also wondering if they'll add sound to the Great Goofini coaster (maybe his notorious "down the ski-slope" yodel).
Anybody have any info?

I was just thinking about the lighting a few days ago - they are going to have to be really careful with how they light the castle. It would be easy to make the thing look very small if badly lit.

Agree. I am expecting a lot of small effects like that. I'm sure there will be all kinds of small details like this.
