New Additions To Pirates

What spoiler? You didn't know that there would be music in "At World's End!?!" C'mon now.

Ugh, I am doing too much thread hopping amongst the Pirates threads. That must've been referring to some other post. What, I do not know, but I can say I won't be shocked by music in a movie.

No worries...lots of pirates threads going around...and glad to see you're joining in on the great discussions! :)

I don't think the Turners will ever be added, since it is already pretty much given that they are done with the series. The next film will introduce new characters in their place, im sure, and so then decisions will be made regarding further changes.

ok here's my suggestions for posible additions.

1-they should add tia dalma and possibly jack the monkey somewhere like a small AA at the end like at the end of the 1st film.

2- i love the song that the condemd people sing in unison and i too would love it if that was added somehow.

and finally
3-just a small detail but i would like to see some of the key props from the film put into the ride,i know disneyland has the cursed chest.
i think that WDW should get the deadmans chest or something.

( know that it would be a very expensive thing to do but wouldnt it be cool if they changed the ship in the battle scene to the black pearl)

I seriously hope they do not do this. I can understand Cap'n Jack, because that is an over-the-top character...he can fit into the Pirates ride just hanging around doing random stuff. Will and Elizabeth are just normal people who are nothing special besides being in the movie. The ride is not the same as the movie...what are these characters going to do for the ride?

Well in Paris there is a guy fighting a pirate to defend his bonny lass.

Will= guy Elizabeth= bonny (hotter):p lass

I disagree. The way "At World's End" concluded, left it wide open for new stories surrounding Elizabeth and Will.

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
On reflection I feel that devoid of Mr Bloom and the skinny bint, the plots could be more humerous as there is definate a great comedic chemistry between Jack and Barbossa.

I always figured you could just throw in an AA of the two comic relief pirates, the portlier one with Elizabeth swung over his shoulder. I would love to see the two of them. Will is a bit harder. I know I fit him in in a description I made of a few Pirates movie additions in the days when we were awaiting Cap'n Jack's appearance, but I can't remember where. Just one Will Turner AA. That's all I'd add to the ride overall, although I still wish my idea of a ghostly Barbossa and Jack (complete with a bottle of Rum in Jack's hand which he takes a swig of, the contents spilling down inside his ribcage) seeing us off at the end of the ride would come true.

I would probably die a little inside if the Turners found their way into the attraction. While the third movie did make their characters more important (unfortunately) I personally do not feel they fit with the swaggering good fun of the ride. The only things Will and Elizabeth add to the films are ridiculous amounts of angst and delusions of grandeur, respectively. Both of which are unnecessary for this amazing attraction.

I wouldn't really want the Turners in the attraction. They are great in the movie but I feel that they wouldn't look right in the ride. Keep the ride how it is. It's perfect now and don't want it looking too crowded. They could add Mr. Gibbs to the pig scene though. That would be fun.

Oh, and I am all in favor of more movies! Keep them coming!

yeah Jack the mokey would be nice to see in there. I was just really mad that the "We want the redhead" scene was never shown in the films. That was my favorite on the ride and we only saw the redhead not the auction part of it. sad :(

Lots of people said the same thing about including Jack Sparrow, and that has worked out very well and has brough new life to the attraction. If this is done, I'm sure the imagineers will do a good job with it.

I agreee whole heartedly, I was thinking that after the first movie was made. They could easily add Mr. Gibbs in there with minimal down time. He would be asleep so no need to synch up audio, just replace the existing AA with the pigs with Mr. Gibbs, that would be a fun little addition. :sohappy:

Watch "At World's End" before you make any character judgements on Will and Elizabeth. I wouldn't say that a king has a "forgettable" role. :king:
their acting is, however sub par in comparison (sp?) to that of J.D., B.N., and G.R., I'd even say in comparison to Keith Richards... .:ROFLOL:

hmm

I really think they do not need to add The turners into the ride. I forgot already but If he is not in their yet I think they should add barbosa into the ride.

I kinda hope they dont, unless they are planning on adding the sword sequence that is in the Paris version, other than that, I dont think they really need them in there.
