We just ate there for the first time a few days ago. The only thing I can gather is they offer items other places don't and you can pile on as much as you want. They had grilled onions and mushrooms and cheese you can use to pour on your french fries. Not a bad place as far as counter service goes.
People tend to abuse it by whipping up a sald from the fixin's.
That's pretty sad, there's always someone that'll eventually ruin a good thing for everyone:fork:

I don't like a loaded down burger, so I'm not a usual user of much on the fixin's bar, but I still really like Pecos Bill's. The food is pretty good (my faveorite is the BBQ pork sandwich) but the trick is finding the most out of the way seating to avoid the crowds. There's a nice little room way off of the main serving area that's usually open and not usually crowded.

I love to put the grilled onions and mushrooms on my burger and get the cheese sauce for my fries..Its a must for the 1st day lunch on each trip!

Yeah I don't get it either.
It is better than a majority of the counter service stuff at the MK but that isn't saying much!
