were listed to have refurbishment complete yesterday. Does anyone know if the reopened? The Disneyland refurbishment schedule does not list them for today either.

They're very pretty, but the ride is still a dud from the moment you go into the cave. When you're in the lagoon, it's wonderful (if not a bit sparse in its present form), but once inside the show building, it tanks for me (no pun intended). Too much reliance on screens that a short distance from the porthole, and certainly no compelling storyline.

But I'm hearing Star Wars is back on for Tomorrowland (make up your minds and build something Disney), which would likely mean curtains for the subs. Enjoy them while they're around!

Why can't we get Jar Jar's Submarine Voyage?

I was there when the Subs reopened last Saturday ( 27th ).
Folks were lined up and anxious to experience it, wondering if anything majorly new had been added.
It was interesting listening to the locals talk about what they were hoping to see since it had been closed for so long while standing in line among them.
I actually had to come back several times during the day to try to ride, as the wait times were over an hour at some points.
Also the Subs closed for some time later in the day..not sure if they reopened that evening or not.

A agree that the Subs are wonderful during the outside portion of the ride experience.
I wish the entire ride-thru was like this, even inside the show building.
Once inside, the Nemo-ness takes over and it loses me.
Hearing the name of that cartoon fish over 60+ times hurts the experience in my opinion as well.
I just try to concentrate of the sets and lighting and ignore the projections. I am sure i would have been a fan of the original version, as i loved WDWs 20K version of the Attraction back in the day.

Regardless, i was excited to be able to experience the Subs again while in town last week.
Despite not being a Nemo fish fan ( prefer my Nemo to be a Captain...thank you..) i love the Subs.
Here*s hoping they stay for a nice long time.
